What can be said of the bats, other than they turned Bierbrodt into the sasuage that his name sounds like (as SFSoxer reffered yesterday), and hopefully this is just a glimpse of what Kevin Millar is going to do for the team in the coming months. The few downsides to the game were Giambi and Howry. Giambi was the only Red Sox starter not to collect at least one hit and he wiffed three times to go with it (transaltion: get Ortiz in there Grady). Howry is now 2-2, 2 appearances, 2 times he's allowed runs to score. If I were Grady, with this pen, I'd use a revolving door method. Once you start giving up runs, you go to the back of the pecking order, and everyone else moves up one. |
