Thumping

  • Would the real Perdo Martinez please stand up? On again, off again has been Pedro's story so far this year, and last night was he ever back on.

Dare I say it, David Ortiz is en fuego, and I must retract a statemtent I made the other day complaining that Giambi wasn't used in the games after his 4-4 performance against the Twins. I had no idea he was suffering from a bad wrist, my bad Grady not yours. In turn, the injury allowed Ortiz to string a few straight days with some plate appearances and has it paid off so far or what.

Blitzing the Rangers pitching is what your supposed to do, and for the most part the Sox did it. The challenge now is to keep it going with Ahaheim coming in to town. We took two from them out there a couple weeks ago, no excuse for not doing the same at home.

Lowe goes tonight, whoes had alot more success at Fenway than on the road so far, for now, lets hope he sticks to that formula.
