As much as we said the pen couldn't possibly stay as bad as they were at the beginning of the season, we also knew they couldn't possibly stay as good as they had been going. The first two games of that series was blown by the pen, and they tried to give away yesterday's as well. Great, just want you want, the pen on a down swing with the Y-----s coming into town for three. Pray for complete games. I saw pretty much nothing from any of the games over the weekend, so maybe I'm being too critical. But all I have to go by is the boxscores, and they say the pen is back to sucking it up right now. |
