Gutsy

  • Pedro goes down, the first pitch of the game hasn't landed yet, but they were still able to shrug it all off and get the 'W'. Yesterday was a big time gut check and they came thru. Obviously we want to win, but regardless of what happens tonight this series is a wash. The only time one game in the standings means anything is when the season is over and you're still up by just one.

Great win, great comeback, but if Pedro is gone for an extended period, we're done before we started. As the NESN post-game was going off the air, they said Pedro's MRI revealed nothing more than a strain and that he's listed as day-to-day. Whew! Guess we'll see if that's the case if/when Pedro makes his next scheduled start (Monday).

I REALLY don't want Clemen$ going for number 300 in New York against the Sox, so as much as tonight's game has little meaning to the season, it is huge in terms of preventing Rodger-Dodger from benefiting at our expense.

    Just rack em!
