Umm...

  • I really don't know what to say anymore. The last thing I want to do is tool all over Nomar, but he needs some kind of kick in the ass. I just don't get it. I wonder if it has anything to do with his recent engagement. I wonder if there are other things on his mind that are preoccupying him. No other explanation makes any sense to me.

The pen doesn't get a free pass, those pieces of garbage out there were the ones that allowed the runners on base to begin with. Just wait until we start playing the Oaklands, Seattles, and NYs, you know, the teams with pitching. We'll score less runs, but the pen will continue to give them up, and probably at an even more frightening pace than they are now.

That 20-12 record is such a mirage it isn't even funny. Notice how, for the most part, the fan base in Boston isn't the least bit excited about the team right now. Everyone knows that we're in the 'cake walk' portion of the schedule right now and that we stand no chance against the elite. I dare someone to tell me otherwise with all that garbage cluttering up the bullpen.
