REGALO_______________________

Regalo is a 1982 Cape Dory Typhoon Weekender. In 1997 I was sailing an O'Day Widgeon, but wanted a boat that I could keep in the water instead of trailering and launching each time. A larger boat, something suitable for the open ocean, maybe a trip to Bermuda, an Atlantic crossing, or one of those circumnavigations through the roaring 40's below the great Capes. So, I got my Ty, designed by the great Carl Alberg, which is a fantastic little daysailer, and may be sailed farther by intrepid individuals.
