The Reincarnations of Rock 'n' Roll did an absolutely superb job in a special two-hour dinner theater fund raising show for the Peninsula Daily News' charity, the Peninsula Home Fund, on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at The Upstage Theatre and Restaurant in Port Townsend. It was fun happy outstanding non-stop entertainment and I'm delighted to recommend them. I've seen a number of "tribute" shows in Las Vegas and New York and I'll stand the Reincarnations up to all of them. On February 3, 2008 The Reincarnations of Rock 'n' Roll, directed by, Raven, appeared at The Upstage as a fundraising event for the The Peninsula Daily News Home Fund. Despite it being Super Bowl Sunday, the event was very well attended by an audience that was generous with their dollars and with their enthusiasm. The Reincarnations of Rock & Roll is a very well rehearsed and accurate presentation of the music of Buddy, Elvis and Janis and more. The lead singers are each quite good at their target singer and deliver with style and energy. The band is tight and period accurate while leaving some room for interpretation and seem to be having a good time. The overall show is fast paced and professional.
