Anecdotes: I play lead sax with another jazz band, Bari sax with two others, oboe with a small wind ensemble, lead the Baltimore County Senior Jazz band, Conduct the Chesapeake Concert Band, am the Cantor for my church, and love to play in the pits for local community theatres. Other than that I’m not very busy!

Anecdotes: Played with George Ross at UMCP (director); Kim Waters at HCL jazz vocal group. I've been playing for over 36 years. I am also currently playing with the Power House Big Band, Checkered Past (classic rock), and a frequent guest artist with my good friends in Joyride and about any where else I'm invited in the door with my horn! Anecdotes: Once Marched on ice for 502nd Air Force Band. Played with Roy Clark and Brew Moore. Announced an entire wedding reception with no microphone. Played gigs on both drums and piano. USAF Band: 1963-1965, Johnny Hart Band: 1966-1969 Quatra (4 pcs): 1970-1985, Freelancing: 1985....
Other: RJE is like family to me. Scott has the guts to try fast tempos. It’s a gas to sing vocals with a big band behind me.

Anecdote: Currently playing big band jazz with RJE and with Ashton Fletcher

School of Music; playing combo jazz, blues and standards with JoyRide; and playing rock and dance (fill-in) with Mary Lou and the Untouchables. Grew up playing flute, guitar and piano. Studied flute with Bonnie Lake of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Took up saxophones at age 38.
