army and Paandav had 7 Akshauhinee army. According to
Mahaabhaarat its
calculation is given like this - The following table has been copied from Agni Puraan, ch 366, p 804. In this table, various sections of an army are given with the numbers of horses, elephants and foot soldiers etc.
It explains - "Chakra" and "Aneek" are the synonyms of Senaa (army). In whichever
army there are 1 elephant, 1 chariot, 3 horses and 5 foot soldiers, that
is called Patti. [In this Table a separate section is not made for Chariots, that is why it creates confusion. I have created that section - the 2nd Row, which coincides all numbers with MBH numbers.]
