Fashion Cents - Look great on YOUR budget
Look perfect - Look like a million on next to nothing

So you want to look like a model. So many people have that dream of dressing like a model, looking like a model, and so we crimp and style and torture ourselves. But it doesn't take much to look like a model. There are a few key tricks to looking obviously beautiful.

Your body. Most women think they have to have perfect legs and arms, no hips and a drawn face to look like a model. Watch the magazines - the face of beauty is changing. Whether you're tall or short, fat or skinny, crooked nosed or big nosed, there's a place for your own personal beauty. Dress for your own style. Just stay healthy and treat your body well, and you'll see your beauty. Let it shine through and accept your so-called "flaws" as a personal seal of your unique and wonderful body.

Your skin. Everyone wants perfect skin. Some are born with it - most of us are not. Cleanse and moisturize at least twice daily, do what you need to do to take care of it, but don't wail over it. Eat well, stay calm and relaxed, exercise, and your skin will glow.

Smile. Every face is beautiful when embellished with a geniune, heartfelt smile. Smile at people you see, whether or not you know them. Let happiness fill your heart and your inner beauty will naturally show.

Posture. One of the most important things that prevents people from looking their best is their posture. Pull your shoulders back and stop slumping, don't shuffle but take calm strides, pull your neck back and not out like a hen, hold your chin up and look people in the eye. Then smile with confidence. Think of yourself as a queen.

The three key ingredients. Now we come down to it. You've done all of the above, but there are a few "looks" missing. It's the superficial stuff - your clothes, you say? Think again. Here are the 3 most important things that will make people stop and admire.

Accessories. People everywhere will look at your shoes. On the street, on the bus, as you walk around. Make sure they're clean and neat and comfortable. Don't sacrifice looks for comfort - go for shoes that will last and still look good. Same with your bag and your watch.

Hair. Sure your hair looks good right? If your hair is smooth and looks professional - you'll look instantly amazing, no matter what you wear. Get a professional consultation - save on your clothes but find a good haircutter and hairdresser. Make sure you find out exactly how to recreate the look at home, and buy the tools you'll need.

Nails. People see your hands all the time, so make sure your nails are neat. Not so long and colorful that they speak louder than your mouth, but simple, clean, rounded, with polish if you like.

If you follow these tips and the three key ingredients, you can just wear a t-shirt and jeans everyday, and you'll be sure to look like a model. Don't forget to smile!

Style tips:

Black or brown shoes and a black or brown bag will go with everything.

Make sure your clothes fit YOU - get them altered if you have to.

Look at yourself from behind.

Take one accessory off before you leave home. You just need one great accessory.

Go light on the makeup. Too much makes you look old - keep your face light and bright.

Try different hairstyles, not the same one every day. It will makeover your face.

Don't just depend on tv, magazines and models to decide what to wear. Find your own style.

Forget matching. Lipstick doesn't have to match your dress or nails. Go for colors that look good together.

Go simple with earrings and jewelry. Light and small to draw attention to your face, not the accessories.

Find the right eyewear for your face.

Finally, don't try too hard. Let yourself be as natural as you can be.
