Intercessory Prayer
Every Monday evening in "THE UPPER ROOM" of our Church Starting at 7:00 pm 1 Timothy 2:1-4 ~ I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone -- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (NIV)

Hebrews 10:22-25
22. Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
23. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
24. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
25. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
(NIV)

We want to invite everyone to join us in our Family Group Studies. Family Group Studies serve as a wonderful opportunity to...
- Learn more about the Lord in a relaxed atmosphere.
- Learn more about the other people in our Church Community.
- Feel free to offer your own thoughts and ideas concerning the subject.
- Bring and introduce your family and friends to your "NEW" family in Christ on a less formal basis.
Please understand that for saftey reasons, The hosts and locations of these studies will be announced during the service on Sunday Morning.

We will resume these Family Group Studies in January. These Family Group Studies are so important that we have decided to reconstruct our Family Group Studies. We will be offering a quarterly training course for the leaders of these groups and opening our doors for a "Free-Market" type of Family Group Study Course. What this means is that we will make available those things that draw the most interest.These topics can range from "In Depth Study of the Scripture" to "Arts and Crafts" to "Job Training Courses" and "Domestic Skills". We all have talents that the Lord has given us and we are all instructed to share those talents with others. 1 Peter 4:10 says "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." (NIV) The basic requirements for these studies will be:

Our "Leadership Training Course" has been successfully completed. During the training course, the leaders have learned how and when to implement these requirements. We long to maintain a relaxed atmosphere within our Family Group Studies but the need to keep Christ above all other needs so that the Kingdom of God is glorified and disciples are transformed into the image of Christ.
2 Peter 1:2-8 (NIV) tells us
2. Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
3. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
4. Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
5. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;
6. and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
7. and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.
8. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
