Fire Island Lighthouse

The Fire Island Lighthouse is located on the eastern shore of Long Island, NY.
The National Seashore status means that the beach and island itself are undeveloped, unpopulated and untouched. It's a wonderful place.
The lighthouse is filled with all sorts of nautical displays. Before you ask, no, you can't go up in the tower. Drat.
