REY ADEL & DIOMA'S POETRY ANTHOLOGY OF POEMLETS: NATURE TRIP
Wind blows ACROSS the grassy plain
Weeds and plants kneel in unison
To become the subjects of emptiness
Questions pervade the whirring air
Why be fooled by the roars of silence?
Why not be firm and stand in defiance?
For no one can strike down a rooted matter.
The mimosa grass folds when touched,
The rose has thorns to prick the uncaring
To show their defense against adversity.
Queries endanger the mighty wind
Why be passive and aid inaudibility?
Why not strike back and feel virility?
Weakness turned strength, silence could shatter.
