Herstory: Isis is the greatest Goddess Egypt has ever known. She is also unparalelled as a
deity as she is considered the most complete Goddess; encompassing so many aspects all

to be the purest example of a loving wife and mother who cared for every creature that
walked the land. She was compassionate and generous to all who appealed to Her for aid.
She is shown in sculptures suckling her child Horus. It is believd that many of Her traits
were taken on by the Christian Mary, mother of Jesus. She is also a classic “creator/
destroyer” Goddess with Her twin sister Nyphthys as her darker aspect. Her relationship
with Her consort Osiris is that of a “Seasonally dying God” cycle. She was also known
as a great magician. She created the first cobra using its venom to trick Ra into revealing

murdered husband back to life, re-esembling his body, and fashioning him a new phallus.
