As the Lord has me working on the "Signs of the Times" web section, He tells me which news headlines from around the world to gather, and then speaks to me about them as I'm working on the page.

The headline reads: "Poll: Concerns Shift From Economy to War" and is dated January 16th, 2006. It states that people are now convinced that the economy is strengthening, but the war in Iraq was voted the number one problem that the United States is dealing with. With American soldiers dying at a rate of about 2 per day, and no signs of the enemy weakening, in the natural it would be easy perhaps to understand why they voted Iraq our 'number one problem'.

As a child of God, I see things from a different perspective. The rise of legalized murder (aka abortions) around the world. The fact that the harvest is ripe but the worker few. The rise of the spirit of antichrist vs. the lack of discernment and strength of the Body of Christ. For us, THESE are some of the major strongholds in America, or "#1 problems".

But along the lines of war, Holy Spirit and I began talking and we noticed not only do people seldom speak about our troops still being in Afghanistan (and dying), but that also no one seems to have noticed the Iran threat.

He has asked me to highlight some of the major news re: Iran, nuclear weapons, Israel, the U.S. and our role as Believers.

Amidst tropical storms, bird flu reports and President Bush's trip to China (which released major judgment of the Lord upon that nation), a little-known man by the name of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, newly elected president of Iran, called for Israel to be "wiped off the map" (Oct 26, 2005). At a conference called, "The World Without Zionism", he said a new wave of Palestinian attacks will destroy the Jewish state. He also stated, "Anyone who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury. Any Islamic leader who recognizes the Zionist regime is acknowledging the surrender and defeat of the Islamic world." Analysts proclaimed that these statements return Iran to their revolutionary goals/agendas they were pursuing in the 1980's.

On Dec 2, 2005, the headline read: "Iran & Russia Sign $1 Billion Defense Deal". The Lord said this is prophetically important, not only because of what Iran's leader said a few weeks ago about the destruction of Israel, but that it is also proof that nations of the world are forming end-time political alliances for the fulfillment of end-time prophecies.

On December 9th, 2005, Foxnews.com reported, "Iran 'Determined' to Produce Nuclear Weapons". On December 11th, the Jerusalem Post reported that Ariel Sharon had ordered the IDF to prepare for attack on Iran's nuclear facilities by the end of March 2006. IDF Chief Lt General Hatutz proclaimed that Iran was "three months from having an atomic bomb". On December 14th, Hizbullah (sponsored by Iran) established a headquarters/command center in Gaza. Former U.S. House speaker Newt Gingrich publicaly compared the rise of Iran today to that of Nazi Germany in the 1930's, and said that we needed to 'eliminate the Iranian threat'. Also (Dec 31st, 2005), WorldNetDaily reported on a report from Germany that said the United States was preparing a military strike upon Iran.

On December 15th, 2005, President George Bush said that Iran was an "Axis of Evil" member, and a very real threat.

The Word of the Lord was..."Who has ears to hear, let him hear...."

On January 1st, 2006, the Iranian president said that Europe created Israel in order to complete the holocaust.

On January 5th, 2006, as Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was in a serious physical state, Iran's president said, "I Hope Sharon Dies". The United States State Department said his remarks were, "hateful and disgusting. And this is a man who wraps himself in the cloak of a 'peaceful religion, Islam', and yet you hear remarks like this coming from him. This regime has isolated the Iranian people from the rest of the world in a matter of months - through its actions and its statements."

Again the Lord said, "Who has ears to hear, let him hear."

The Lord began talking to me about the people of Iran (predominately Muslim). He said, "Tell My people to intercede for them." You are probably aware that their 'holy book' is called the Koran. Were you also aware that in the Koran it over three hundred times tells Muslims to kill Christians and Jews? When you look at the core, the heart, of their holy book, there is no love. In fact, I'm told that the word "love" is never....NEVER....mentioned. Never.

The Koran also proclaims to its readers that Ishmael and not Isaac was the seed of promise. Mohammed, their prophet who wrote the Koran, rewrote scripture to say that it is the Islamic people who have God's promise, and not the people who have Jesus. The Bible states that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that the world through Him might be saved. The Koran says that He did NOT come with a message to see people converted, but instead came with a sword and proclaimed, "You better believe in Mohammed or you die". And while they believe Jesus to have been a prophet, Mohammed is concerned their main prophet because 'he wrote the last revelation of God - which is the Koran'.

The Lord then spoke unto me that He wants us to 'bless those who curse us....' Matthew 5:44 proclaims, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." On His "Signs of the Times" page He asked me to stand in for Ariel Sharon who could not speak at this moment, and had me speak forth the following:

"I speak blessings to Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on behalf of Prime Minister Sharon and the nation of Israel. May you meet your true Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords."

The Lord loves the Iranians. The Lord loves Iran's outspoken president. He died so that they might live. We are being called to love those who hate us, to pray and intercede on their behalf, even that they would experience a mighty revival for the Glory of the Kingdom of Heaven.

On January 8th, 2006, the headlines read, "Iran to Resume Nuke Research: UN Inspectors Give OK, Will Remove Seals on Nuclear Plants". I cried unto the Most High, "Lord, have mercy....". On January 10th, "Iran Pops Seals on Nuclear Plants".

Also on January 10th, 2006, the United States Government called Iran's nuclear move a 'serious escalation'. Certain prophets have proclaimed that America is in danger from nuclear attack in January. Holy Spirit asks you, "Are you praying for your nation? Are you praying for your enemies, asking God to bless them?" It has been my experience that when the Lord is calling us unto prayer and intercession, that there is a way out....that if we will humble ourselves, pray, fast, and turn from our wicked ways, He WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN and intercede for us, sometimes stay His hand. We have an amazing opportunity for His Glory here....who has ears to hear?

He said, "May you therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that you may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need." (Hebrews 4:16).

With Prime Minister Ariel Sharon still hospitalized, their was a report from Israel stating that Israel was accelerating their strike plan against Iran (January 11, 2006).

On January 13th, 2006, President Bush announced that Iran poses a "grave threat". The Lord said that he is right on the money on this one...for the Lord pointed this out several weeks ago. This was an answer to prayer, for I had interceded as led by Holy Spirit that the Lord would reveal the enemy's plans to our President. Also on this date, Iran defied the West in favor of continuing their nuclear program and threatened to end all nuclear cooperation.

On January 14th, 2006, President Bush proclaimed that Iran's nuclear moves bring the destruction of Israel closer.

Again, the Lord proclaims, "Who has ears to hear, let him hear...."

Bush said, "Iran armed with a nuclear weapon poses a great threat to the security of the world,". He added, "Countries such as ours have a great obligation to step up, working together to send a message to the Iranians that their behavior, trying to clandestinely develop a nuclear weapon, or using the guise of a civilian nuclear program to attain a nuclear weapon, is unacceptable."

Bush continued, "A world without Zionism is the goal of the Iranian regime. The current president of Iran has announced that the destruction of Israel is an important part of their agenda. That is unacceptable. The development of a nuclear weapon is a step closer to that agenda."

"It is the world's interest that Iran not have a nuclear weapon," said Bush, insisting that Iran must not "have capacity to blackmail free societies."

On January 15, 2006, the headline read, "Iran Threatens 'Unexpected' Oil Price Hike if Sanctions Brought Against Them". Most news outlets used the word 'warns' instead of 'threatens' however the Word of the Lord is what I am to report, and His word of Truth as revealed/spoken unto me was "threatens". Also on this day, "Iran Notches Up Anti-Israel Campaign" was another headline.

The Lord says unto you: "I created the United States to be a friend and ally to Israel. I shall reveal My plans to President Bush....I will show him the enemy's secret thoughts and tactics, and give him divine blueprints from My heavenly war-room... "

On January 16, 2006, the headline read, "Iran Plans Conference on Holocaust's 'Scientific Aspects' " (which was also reportedly being called a 'Validity Conference') . Several news reporters said this showed a softening or lesser degree of aggression from Iran toward Israel and their earlier comments that the Holocaust was not only fake but that Europe created Israel to 'finish the job'. The Lord said, however, that this is not an 'olive branch' or proof of softening or changed attitudes/minds toward the nation of Israel - but instead, this is a smokescreen," saith the Lord - (spoken to His Messenger, 01-16-06 @ 2:25 a.m.)

Finally we are back to where this began - the headlines listed at the very beginning re: people and their feelings about the war in Iraq vs what the Lord is saying is the true threat...Iran.

The Lord says that the Iran threat is a major deal. He said the world and many Christians have eyes yet they do not see (although He ASSURES US that President Bush DOES see, praise God!)

"...for if I were to allow what Iran truly 'secretly' has in mind to manifest toward Israel and the United States, what has happened to date in Iraq will look like a cake-walk compared to what could be in store for your nations....", saith the Lord.

Who has ears to hear let him hear...heads and eyes up, watchmen on the walls....

"And again I say, are you praying for your nation, America? Are you praying for your friend, Israel? Are you praying for your enemies, asking Me to bless them? Are you asking for my perfect will to be done in all these situations?"

The final word that the Lord shared with me began last week and is about nuclear attack. He led me to Christian web sites that had blueprints for bomb shelters, lists of goods that one could purchase in advance to make it through a nuclear bomb blast here in America (or anywhere I would imagine).

The Lord said, "AM I NOT GOD? AM I NOT GREATER THAN ANY THREAT THAT COULD COME AGAINST MY PEOPLE? DO YOU TRUST ME OR NOT? DO YOU BELIEVE I AM YOUR SHELTER AND SAFE HAVEN AGAINST ANY STORM? WHO WILL YOU BELIEVE? DID I NOT SAY THAT YOU BEAR MY SEAL? O YE OF LITTLE FAITH....EITHER I AM YOUR GOD OR I AM NOT. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS....ONLY BELIEVE." (Spoken to His Messenger, January 16th, 2006 @ 6:48 p.m.)

I proclaim Your perfect will be done toward us all, O God...send down Your righteous judgment from Your mighty right hand....
