Places of Albazard
The Albazardan Plane and Continent, and Albazard City
The Verdict storyline takes place in the plane of Albazard (which was also the place for the story of Caravan, my previous block, which lacked more development, and that's why it isn't in this site). Albazard is a plane with a single continent lost in an infinity of water. The world's Capital is the Albazard city, located at the south of the continent, where most of the events in Caravan took place. In Verdict, however, the action has moved to the northern part of the continent. |
Boveric
Boveric is a portuary commercial city. It's the second largest city in Northern Albazard, and it's home to the Chrona Institute, the number one authority on Magical subjects on the whole plane. |
Meriador
Meriador is the largest city on Northern Albazard, and is the headquarter for the Kampa Institute. The city has been the target of choice for attacks by the Rogue Organization for quite some time, and this has been making the people less trustful on the Kampa. Due to this, Meriador is now the most violent city in the whole continent. |
Enenah
Located in the middle of the valleys and ravins of the Northern Mountains, the city of Enenah is a chaotic and violent place. Giants rule over it, overmastering dwarves, ogres, and goblins. Enenah has been a pretty big problem to Meriador, since it refuses to pay taxes and have blocked trade routes that go through the mountains. Meriador keeps sending troops to take over Enenah, but hasn't been successful thus far. |
Locara
The great war against Nost has brought the ancient forest of Locara to ruin. It has been patiently rebuilded by the elves, centaurs, and ophine, with the great help of the elvish leader Naane's ability to control the growth and expansion of the plants. Now, with Naane's plans to spread the forest all over the continent, Locara is becoming perhaps the biggest threat to Kampa... |
Skyscape
...until Skyscape decided to act. Skyscape is a gigantic boulder standing in the middle of the Clouds, at north of Locara. It's inhabited by mutated humans, illusions, and glittering birds called Celestrals. No one really knows how Skyscape looks like, or who is in charge there - it's even said to be a great illusion itself. The thing is, all of a sudden, Skyscape has begun attacking the continent, and its primary target was Naane. Rumor has it that this is because the Locaran expansion may be the biggest threat to Skyscape's said goal: to use the continent as a training ground for their illusionary experiments. |
The Rogue Citadel The Rogue Organization is a group of higly organized thieves and assassins. They promote gambling and pit fights in the whole continent, and are said to have a headquarters, the Rogue Citadel, somewhere near the northermost part of the Albazardan continent. No one has been able to locate it precisely yet though, mainly because problems are popping all over the continent at the same time. |
Shindana Shindana was an ancient city of halflings, a race of peaceful folk. It was located just west of Locara, and for this reason was the primary target for Naane's strike forces. The halflings opposed the expansion, and even tried to fight back - but they were no match to the overwhelming power of elves and centaurs. The city has since ceased to exist, and the halfling race has been extinct. |
