Voncile has been ministering through gospel music all of her life She loves to sing gospel music and feels that she always will. As a child in Alabama, she enjoyed singing for her family, which included her father, a noted minister, and her mother, who was respected missionary. Her brother, Samuel, remembers his talented sister singing to him all the time. Voncile has performed with both large and small groups, as well as professional choirs. On several occasions, she was selected as lead soloist for many of these groups.
After moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1985, she was graciously welcomed and accepted into the Atlanta Chapter on the Gospel Music Workshop of America, as well as the Georgia Mass Choir. Voncile's unique style and versatility won her acclaim as the "Old Lady" on the song, "Look Where He Brought Me From", on the Georgia Mass Choir's Album entitled, We've Got The Victory", which became a hit on the gospel charts and enabled her to expand her ministry through traveling and performing for audiences all over the country. Voncile embarked upon a solo career, which resulted in the release of her first album, "Be Strong", an album of songs that blessed the hearts of many. Now, God has smiled on her once again, with the opportunity to record her second project, "Voncile". God has also blessed her with the chance to write, arrange, and co-produce the songs on both projects. This is just the beginning for such a phenomenal talent as Voncile. It is her desire to continue to minister the Word thorough song so that people may be HEALED, DELIVERED and SET FREE. Home | About Us | Artists | Contacts | Services | Southern Bred | Voncile |
