Costume List For "Otaku's Promise Bet"
Well due to limited webspace I will have to put all their stories all on this page. Sorry, but if I gave everyone their own page, the info wouldn't be able to fill it out and would take up the rest of my website! The only one with a separate costume page is me ^_^;; So for my story just go under my click here! Anywayz, so here is the list. To see each of their stories, just keep scrolling down the page, K? Suphita's Story The character Sue did was Kagome from the anime Inuyasha or the magna Inu-yasha. Either way it's the same! Anywayz, she reallly didn't finish this due to some technical difficulties. The sewing machine was working a week before with no one to operate it, and well, to be honest, she (as well as the rest of us) can't sew to save her life. Her mom tried to help, but in the end we just said to let it go since it was hella last minute.

Also, her school banned costumes on Halloween Day (how weird O__o). It's okie, she couldn't wear it for Halloween 2003, but we will find a use for it (possibly an anime fest anyone?)! But here is what we got so far!

Costume Description:

Top: Hmm she didn't make it yet, but well see eventually....

Skirt: She got help from here mom to make a traditional green fuku pleated skirt, YAY! It's so accurate, and she can even wear it whenever she wants.

Shoes: I think she will either wear her old uniform shoes or get penny loafters.

Socks: White knee highs, nuff said ^_~

Necklace: Hmm the jewel shards I'm guessing that she doesn't have it for now. I think she's gonna paint a marble with pink nail polish and put it on a change. Taaa-daaa!

Hair: All she's gotta do is wear it down! She already got the black hair ^_^ Just need to comb it super staight!

Bow and Arrow: Tee hee suction cup arrows BWHAHAHAHAHA! Available at your local $.99 Store :-D

Marlina's Story This is Marli's Costume. At first she originally was suppose to do Misao (*ILMAO* inside joke!) She was SUPPOSE to do Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII, but it kinda got messed up ^_^; So we called it an Original Vincent Costume Design (to be nice) or Victoria Valentine! The only draw back to the costume she constructed was that it kept falling apart! Oh wellz this is how it was done. Costume Description: Top: Black shirt and leather vest. WoW so complicated ^_^ (jk) Pants: SUPER, REALLY tight leather pants. Dunno what she was thinking. She was

trying to kick my friend Joshua (Parasite Dragoon) who dressed up as "Dark" Cloud and then...well let's just say she had to go home and change before we went to the party afterschool. Yea that's how tight they were...

Belt: Her mom got her beaded belts -___- So she had a black beaded belt and a brown leather tassle belt instead of two identical leather belts. SOOOOO she wore the black one and used the brown one as a whip cuz we couldnt bring fake weapons to school.

Gloves and Golden Claw: Used long black gloves, but no claw. Don't blame her she had to do a face painting booth at the fair thing. Don't wanna scratch the kids faces off !

Boots: Unfortunately her sister took the boots last minute. Wow this just ain't her day....Anyways, she just wore black sneakers (that looked like Yuffie's!)

Necklace: Yea I know the char doesn't have one, but it IS an original design ^_^ she just has a cross necklace which she still wears. She said it had a gothic feel. LoLz.

Hair: Bought a cruddy wig from Party City. When she tried to cut it, but it ended up balding...yep that's what happened

Kyle's Story Kyle's costume was Miroku the Perverted Monk from the anime/magna series Inuyasha. OMG! This was a last minute costume, he did it the week of Halloween. So that gave him, like, three days. It looked pretty good, I must admit!

THANK GAWD HE WAS NOT IN CHARACTER (this means he didn't act like the character he dressed up as, Miroku so no perverted girl groping here). Here's the jist of Kyle's creation.

Costume Description:

Top: Let's see, lots of layers....There was the black kimono and purple, shiny sash and well that was the entire costume ^_^;;;;

Pants: Dude, Vash was smart, he wore jeans underneath so he didn't have to be cold or wear the costume all day

Sandals: He wore sneakers! I think me and Parasite Dragon were the only ppl with boots -___-

Necklace and Earrings: Yes he did get gold stuff for this costume. He had clip earrings, but later they started to hurt so he put it on the necklace. What necklace you ask? The one for his hand! Heh he even drew a hole on his hand now that I think about it...

Hair: Ilmao! Well I've gotta admit, he did the hair style pretty well. I think he used hair glue cuz his bangs were really hard...

Staff: Made a staff...dunno how...dun't even kno how he got to keep it as school...I think he took a broom stick, some wire for the top design, stuck it together, and spray painted it gold like crazy!
