This is the part of my website that really has nothing to do with Satanism apart from it indulging in one of my own interests . . . Conjuring! In Victorian Times the parlour was the show piece and center of the home where guests would be entertained and would find themselves in an environment totally based on the personality of their host. In the 18th and 19th centuries, guests of socialite hosts would be entertained in the parlour by a live Conjuror (Magician) performing tricks with cards, rabbits, balls and all sorts of other things. Hence, the concept of Parlour Magic was born and took its place amongst the other two forms of magical entertainment; stage magic and mentalism. Just to state the obvious, Conjurors, Illusionists, Magicians and Mentalists are entertainers and the feats they perform are the result of literally hours of dedicated, solitary practice, just as any other accomplished entertainer and professional. The feats are accomplished through the ability to apply the principals of psychology, acting, phyiscal dexterity and engineering. So should you ever see or meet one, please show them respect for the hours of dedication they have put into their art and most of all realize that they have not sold themselves to Satan or the dark side!
