Act III

The Suspects

Captain Louis Renault: Realizing the importance of the case, my men are rounding up twice the usual number of suspects.

Casablanca (1942)

Casebook.org lists twenty-one suspects in their suspect area. That is perhaps, conservative. Some suspects depend on massive conspiracies. Other suspects depend on some of the murders having been copycat crimes as opposed to authentic Ripper murders. The definitive proof, or smoking gun, in the Ripper crimes has not been found. Nor is it likely to be found. The so-called Ripper Diary, purported to have been penned by James Maybrick, has been discredited. Yet that is the type of information we would need to solve the Ripper case.

Below are general links to suspects and specific links to the most interesting (if not most probable) suspects.
