Ahoy ye Matey! Today was the maiden voyage of our 24' American Sailboat!
After a nerve racking 20 minute drive to the bay with the boat bouncing up and down on the trailer, we finally launched her out into the deep blue sea (actually it was only Mission Bay...)
We took her over to Sail Bay and cruised around for most of the day. It was absolutely perfect sailing weather! There is really nothing else like having the sea wind in your face and spending the day without anything else to think about other than having a good time.
Everyone should get themselves one of these!
Big news in our house... We just bought a boat! Yes, that is right, a BOAT!
It is a 24' American Sailboat and it is beautiful... well, it will be once we get it fixed up a bit :)
We have spent the last 2 months cleaning, painting, and fixing all sorts of stuff on the boat. I cannot wait until all this work pays off and the boat is afloat!
It should be getting launched in the very near future so keep looking for updates!
