Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: the Movie
Empress of Evil Rita was featured in the original Power Ranger motion picture, donning a more elaborate costume, but still the similar spiteful personality.  She keeps her status as wife of Lord Zedd, and co-leader of the evil aliens.

Rita makes her entrance alongside the rest of the alien band, led by Lord Zedd, who wishes to open the gargantuan egg unearthed at the Angel Grove construction site. While the sorceress mocks her husband with several wise-crack remarks, the egg eventually opens, and Rita stands corrected as she lays her eyes on a dastardly being - Ivan Ooze.

However, back within the lunar palace, upon witnessing the Rangers traveling to Phadoes, Rita complains of Ivan's incompetence, provoking the purple monstrosity to slab a blob of ooze on her mouth, satisfying both himself and Zedd. Rita and her spouse are ultimately caged by Ivan within a snow globe, and cheer for the Rangers, with their mind set to destroy the villain. Ivan's destruction leads to their freedom, and as they find Goldar proclaiming himself king, they are not too happy...

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Live on Stage
This production for kiddies featured Rita as sort of a more grumpy character, serving Lord Zedd, which, of course does not match the storyline. Nonetheless, the story goes as follows:

As Lord  Zedd reveals his plan to attack the Rangers from on Earth, Rita gripes at him, feeling his plan is redundant ("I've heard that before!"). For her boldness, Zedd shrinks her, and has his henchmen stuff her into a box, which is given to Baboo and Squatt to play with. However, he is not through with Rita yet, as he enlarges her in order for her to see his newest monster. But Rita's freedom is short lived.

She is sent on a crash course to the moon after screeching at Goldar, and eventually falls off the rock-planet! Rita is given a few moments to explain her experience before she is dragged off by Zedd's henchmonsters.
