Hey, I'm Alex Kall, Rival Currents bassist. I am 15 years old and the youngest member of Rival Currents. I've been playing bass since January 2001 (belated Christmas gift; long story). If you've been to any of our shows, you might have realized that my bass looks a little odd. Yes, I play left. I'm one of the only two left bassists in our community (that I am aware of).

Some of my musical influences include: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Queensryche, Our Lady Peace, Rush, Geddy Lee, Cinderella, Creed, CCR, Guns'N'Roses, Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot, Default, Boston, Metallica, Nickelback, Big Wreck, and the Immigrants. In other words, mostly classic rock bands from the 60's and 70's.

One thing I'd like to clear up: Yes, Brian IS my brother. I've been asked that so many times in my life, it'd scare you. Of course, I should say, I'm his brother, since that is how I am often referred to (Brian's Little Brother, Mini-Brian, The Other Kall, I've heard dozens).

In the winter, I play hockey, and in the summer, I play soccer (just to stay in shape for hockey, ;-) ). My favourite hockey team is the Sens (too bad about last year, but I can smell the cup this year!). And, if you cared to know, I don't have a favourite colour, but my favourite foods include pizza, tacos, stir-fry, and anything else with over 70% sugar, and /or glucose/fructose :-).

I'd like to thank my family, my friends, my parents (because without their generation, 'there would be no real rock'n'roll') for their support, but especially and my amazingly wonderful girlfriend, Jessica, who has been there for me since the day one and never once complained about Nick and my brother's antics.
