Rock on Canada! We've all agreed that this past Canada Day was one we will not be forgetting for a long time. It felt great to be back among friends for the Kemptville Canada Day Celebration, where we were invited to play on the band shell for an hour set. Thank you Kemptville! It's great to know that regardless of our succes or failure in other towns, we're always welcome back home.

Wow! Yesterday, we got to participate in one of Brockville's biggest celebration, RiverFest. As a prize for the Battle of the Bands, we received a half hour set in the Tunnel Stage, where we performed our first ever run-through of Crazy Train, by Ozzy Osbourne. As exciting as the event was, our luck turned awry when Ben broke the strap of his kick drum pedal and a stick, Brian's E-string broke, the microphones died and Stariway To Heaven took a nose dive. Fortunately, we were able to get back into the swing of things with what we believe to be an awesome performance of In the Mood and WHEN.

The last two weeks here in Oxford Station have been very hectic, yet very enjoyable ones. We finally had the chance, after many months of planning, to spend some time with our relatives from The States. We had some very memorable times and will not soon forget their stay with us, especially our uncle (who's name unfortunately we can't mention yet until we have permission--which we hope will come shortly after posting this!). An all-around awesome guy, not to mention a very formidable guitarist.God bless you all, and we hope to hear from you soon!

This past Saturday, we were invited to play among family and friends at the Somers PigRoast. We decided to give our audience the first oppurtunity to hear our new song (sorry, details still TBA), which was what we perceive to be a success. Our thanks are extended to Mr. Summers and his band 5/4 Split for their hospitality and great food.

We held off on all details about our new tune, but we feel you've waited long enough, so here we go. The title of our new song is The Pathy Walk. It runs about eight and a half minutes, making it our longest song yet. We consider it a solo-drenched melodic ballad of betrayal that more than a month to write. Hope you enjoy hearing it as much as we do performing it.

Our first formal gig in almost a month (even though we planned it last spring, haha) we played at RibFest in Brockville last Saturday. Unfortunately, Kyle and Ben were unable to make the show, so we didn't get a chance to run the new song, The Path You Walk. Of course, that is not to say that things didn't flow, we were lucky enough to recruit help from our friends Cameron Shaw and Phil Miller. Both amazing musicians, we had a great time jamming and playing with them and would love to do it again somewhere down the road. Thank you!
