The Beach Buster '98

Summer '98... I had gone home to India after a gruelling 1.5 years in the US. After crashin & burnin for the first couple of months, my pals and I decided to go Beach Busting. What's that u ask ? Beach Busting is a phrase coined by us, it describes a trip in which we drive to all the beaches on the Puri-Konark Higway, stop & dip at all the beaches and get high on adrenaline and/or beer + we also do our best to get into a whole shit load of trouble and then get outta it again !!! This one was the BIG DADDY of them all & the trip of a lifetime...

A couple of days back I had composed the entire experience in this page, complete with all the swears and abuses... but then, I forgot to click on the SAVE button.... o' well. In any case, here are some of the pics.
The conspirators, Ravi, Omi, Alok, Mustafa and I... the baddest group of head bangin, beer guzzlin, adrenaline maxin, ass kickin teenagers ever to get inside a car on this part of the world. How can we be so BADDD ? U'll see...
The car...? It was Ravi's new Maruti Esteem... lets just say that after the trip, its resale value went down by 40%.

heheh, we got drenched in our own sweat & da rain... man, was it humid ! Omi & Alok were a bit tipsy by this time. Mustafa was a bit drunk too... guess I was the only one who didnt touch a drop cuz I was livin up to a promise (thats another story)

Only Omi can pull off sumthin like this... pee-ing in the bloomin middle of the road !!! A car comes up in front of him & he cooly, raised his *free* hand so that he didnt get run over. This guy takes the cake for being the coolest in da bunch !
