Biography:

Rachael Leigh Cook was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on October 4, 1979, to JoAnne and Tom. She has a brother, Ben, who is five years her junior and currently a sophomore in college. Her production company, Ben's Sister Productions, shows her love for him. Her family has a dog, Stella, and two cats, Skippy and Beau. She cannot have pets of her own because she is constantly moving throughout the country.
   Rachael knew she wanted to model at age 7, and began at age 10. She has done work for public service announcements, Milkbone Dog Biscuit boxes, Target flyers, and Lux ads (a Japanese hair-style product company). She has been acting in movies consistently since her career began in 1995. Her first movie was released on August 18, 1995 (6 days before my 12th birthday). From then till the creation of this website, she has averaged just under 4 movies a year (.009569378 movies per day, to be exact).
   Rachael enjoys playing tennis, reading, writing, watching people, painting, and shopping for clothes. She does not like spiders, poodles, roller coasters, bubble perms, or power tools. Her favorite color is black, and she has mostly black and brown clothes and shoes. Her favorite authors are Shirley Jackson, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Franz Kafka. Rachael enjoys the music of the Indigo Girls, the Who, That Dog, and U2, among others. Her favorite T.V. shows are American Gladiators, 3rd Rock from the Sun, and Fraiser.
   Some other random information is as follows. She is a lefty, a vegetarian, and may or may not have a tattoo (I've gotten mixed info). She has brown eyes and naturally brown hair which is usually died different colors. She drives an SUV. The first concert she attended was Raffi. Her dream movie role is Kate Nolan from "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn." She loves to eat at the International House of Pancakes, and her favorite dish there is pancakes with apple-cinnamon sauce. That is most of the important stuff that I know.
