Pub Tour of Ireland
In September of 1999, while I was living in Maidenhead, England,
my roommate from Ottawa, Krishna, and I went on a pub tour of Ireland.
We flew into Dublin, rented a bright red Ford Focus, which we christened
"Nikki", and drove around the country. We went to Galway, the Cliffs of
Moher, Killarney, Cork, and Killkenny.
Throughout the trip we went to the Guinness Brewery, the Jameson Distillery,
some caves, some hikes, watched a hurling match, and visited alot of pubs.
We drank lots and lots of Guinness, but did sample some other local beers,
such as Murphy's in Cork, and Killkenny in (you guessed it) Killkenny.
To read about our adventures, feel free to read my travel email:

Here's Krishna in front of a castle along the way to Galway

The Cliffs of Moher

More of the Cliffs of Moher

A stone at the bottom of the cliffs

Krishna at the Cliffs of Moher

A beautiful view in Killarney National Park

A view on the Dingle Peninsula (Hard to say the name without laughing

A view from uptop the Blarney castle

A view of Krishna kissing the Blarney Stone. You have to
kiss it upside down. After kissing it, we both got sick...
Too many old tourists kissed it before us (Yuck)
