How the mighty have fallen...
The lovely Allison Payne has finally been toppled in our Newsbabe Pageant.But as a consolation to everyone, check out the much nicer picture, now on the WGN website! I let the fans do the voting, counting up the number of hits on each newsbabe's page, and I am sorry to say that Allison has fallen to 3rd Place, gathering 364 votes (barely missing 2nd place, being 1 vote behind the former #12...I don't even KNOW who #12 was, as I am updating this page first, and don't know who was #12 last time...but whoever it was, is now #2!) Well, everyhting I've written about Allison in the past still holds true, and if I had to make the choice, I would see no reason to lower her standing on my list! Here's what I said about her in my last edition of Ms robsgrille:
Allison is our three-time champ in
the Ms Rob's Grille & Bar, having won it every time, so far.
To quote from the previous competitions:
"She's got it all - beauty, body, always a great dresser (it sometimes
appears as if Allison just has a little Victoria's Secret lace thingy on
under those jackets she favors), and a terrific laugh."
That all still goes. BTW, Allison's birthday is February 12th.
In our judging this time, I tried to be more objective, scoring the ladies
in five catagories: Brains, Body ("The Swimsuit Competition"), Beauty ("Miss
Photogenic"), Annunciation ("The Talent Competition"), and Congeniality.
Allison's scores were (I ranked them from 10 for the best, on down, whole number scores
only):
Brains:6 |
Body:9 | Beauty:9 | Annunciation:8 | Congeniality:9
