If your opponent isn't running any monster with over 1600 ATK, you're set. Asura Priest is an awesome anti-scapegoat, and it combos great with Fairy Meteor Crush. However, this card should not be in your Main Deck. It's just too weak, and on top of that, it doesn't stay on the field. Side deck it against decks that use monsters like to Mystic Tomato, Giant Germ, etc., but leave it out of your deck when playing against just about anything else.

2.4/5  It has its uses.

This card is a better side deck card than anything else.  It beats up on Scapegoat, it clears the field of Giant Germs and Nimble Momongas, and it makes Mystic Tomato a little less useful, but since you don't see those cards that much, it isn't always that great.  Most decks I see play one Scapegoat, but you just don't use cards to counter a single card in your opponent's deck.  Spirit cards are a little unreliable as they have to go back to your hand, but Asura Priest does give a little field-clearing power.  It can often work as a mid-Battle Phase Raigeki.  But it does leave you open when it returns to your hand.  That's why it should really go in a side deck.

Rating: 3/5.  Nothing spectacular most of the time, but it does have its moments.

Sorry, beatdown monster with lower than 1800 attack. Know what that means? Worthless. Even pumping it up with Equipment would be worthless because your opponent will probably only have one or two monsters out at once.
