Blast With Chain
Rating: 2.6/5
Type: Trap
Effect: After activation, this card is treated as an Equip Magic
Card. Select 1 monster you control and equip it with this card to increase
the ATK of the selected monster by 500 points. When this card is destroyed
by the effect of another card, select 1 card on the field and destroy
it.

This is a fun card to play with, but you wouldn't want
to use it in most decks. It's fun to chain it to your opponent's Heavy Storm/Feather
Duster/Typhoon. They waste their removal and lose 1 card on the field as
well. The 500 extra points of ATK is a nice addition.
This card is not without its problems. I managed to get one early on,
and decided to test it out. I found that it was rarely destroyed. It's true,
you can use your own Magic/Trap removal on it, but then it turns the card
into a 2 for 1, and that's not something you want. If your opponent has no
cards on his/her side of the field, and this card is already equipped to
a monster, you have a problem. All they have to do is use a little m/t removal,
and you have to destroy one of your own cards.
3/5 This card is great for scaring your opponent out of using Magic and
Trap removal, but it can backfire on you if used incorrectly.

Delayed magic/trap removal, that's what this is. Not a card I think
highly of. It can be useful at times, but equip cards aren't great,
and I'd rather use MST to get rid of magic/trap cards, although killing
a monster with the Blast is nice. Still, nothing really worth playing
unless you don't have anything better.

Wow, not bad. Good for control decks that use hand manipulation
to force your opponent to set stuff down. Beatdown... enh. Could be something
else.
4/5 in control.
2/5 in random crap.
