Simply put, I love this card. It is so much fun to have it in my deck. I just sit there and watch as my opponent builds up this awesome combo that could win them the game. They go to attack, and I drop Kuriboh. The best part is that people don't even suspect it. They see that your m/t zone is empty, so they aren't afraid to put that low-stat monster out to finish you off. The best my kuriboh ever did was save me from a 400 or so attack difference when i was at 200. After my opponent declared the attack he was already gathering up his cards when I dropped Kuriboh. On my next turn I won.

Kuriboh has no other use than that really. There have been a couple of tight situations where I was able to summon my Kuriboh to win the game, but its usually not enough to do any signifigant Life Point damage. Like a few of the cards I use, this one is in there for fun and the surprise. It works better than I ever really imagined.

When this card first came out, it was completely useless.  Waboku was far better.  It saved your monsters, and it blocked all opponent attacks, not just one.  However, things have changed a little.  Now, with Jinzos rampaging around, Waboku doesn't always help.  Also, you can use Sangan to get your Kuriboh.  And Kuriboh can't be negated. It's always funny to watch your opponent Heavy Storm, Raigeki, Limiter Removal their Jinzo and then drop Kuriboh and say "Denied!"

However, Kuriboh does have its weaknesses.  It's vulnerable to hand manipulation, and if your opponent has multiple monsters, it doesn't help much.  It can't be negated, but it's not that powerful.

I have to say 2.3/5.  Not that great.  I like Scapegoat better.  However, Kuriboh may come in handy in a side deck once we get Cyber-Stein and Blue-Eyes Ultimate.
