Effect:  Select 1 card at random from your opponent's hand. Keep it face-down and place it outside of the field. During your opponent's 4th turn, the card is returned to his/her hand in the Standby Phase.
 
 
 

This card is pretty pointless. What would be the point of removing 1 of your opponents card from play for 3 turns. Yes, Yugi did use it against Exodia, but it isn't really that effective, because they would just get the peice back anyway. 3 turns turns just may not be that helpful.

I don't really like this card.  Yugi uses it in the show to delay Exodia long enough to win, but that really doesn't mean it's a good card.  If you ask me, it's pretty weak. It's just a stall card, and not a very good one at that.  It's better to get rid of a card with Forceful Sentry or Confiscation.  You get to choose the card and it's gone longer.  Also, with Lightforce Sword you may get a card that really wasn't going to hurt you anyway, so you just wasted a card.  Lightforce Sword, in my opinion, should not go in any deck, even if you don't have many good cards.  I suppose if you dropped 3 of them on someone it could be a pain, but you'd just get hit hard 3 turns later.  Quite simply, it's just not worth playing.

Anyway, this card isn't that useful in practice. I can understand that it keeps something out of your opponent's hand for a while, but you might as well just discard a card with Confiscation. The fact that it's totally random is what gets it such low marks.
