This painting used the Solid Shape ellipse Path, leaf Path and arrow Path to form the base of the flower. Converted the paths to objects. Paint shadows and highlights using the Gritty Charcoal brush . Then use the Emphasize Edges under Blur and Sharpen Effects. Apply Shadow effect to each part of the flower. Merge Flower parts. Apply Shadow to whole flower. Apply the Texturizer plug-in using Canvas texture to the Flower. Remember settings. Press shift to select background: hit Control, shift, and f and fill background. Then apply Textureizer plug-in again using the same settings.
