Season 1

1. Secret of the Dragon Ball

A young boy with great strength and a monkey's tail named Goku was raised by his ‘grandfather', Gohan. When Gohan died, he left Goku a a strange orb called a Dragon Ball. Goku now lives alone in the forest, happily living alongside nature. One day, however, a girl comes in a car. Goku attacks the car at first, (demonstrating his extreme strength as he flips it over) thinking it's a monster. Bulma angrily jumps out and yells at him, and he pulls up her skirt, asking why she doesn't have a tail. She's confused and shocked at the same time, and she sees Goku's tail. At first she thinks it's a prop, but later learns that Goku has never been outside of the forest before in his life. She asks how old he is, but he can't count. (We assume he's around 13 or 14) Then Bulma cuts to the real reason she came here -- the Dragonball. She already has two, and she wants Goku's. Goku refuses to give it to her, saying it was a present from his grandfather. She explains to Goku that there are 7 Dragonballs in all, and once they are all gathered together, you can summon the Eternal Dragon, Shen Lon, to grant you one wish. Goku still refuses (he has a great love for his grandfather.) until Bulma tells him what great things are out in the world, and that she'll return the ball to him when she's done. (She's obviously lying -- when the wish is granted, the balls all fly off in different directions.) The naive Goku agrees, and takes his Power Pole, a magic extending pole his grandfather gave him, and hops into Bulma's car. She shows him the Dragon Radar, a special device she made to track down the rest of the Dragonballs, and they head off to the next location.

NOTE: The first thirteen episodes of Dragon Ball were edited & dubbed into English, with voices provided by The Ocean Group (the same people who voiced the first two seasons of Dragonball Z). They had an unsuccessful run on the Fox Kids network in the mid-1990s. In 2001, Funimation started dubbing all the episodes and the series began airing on Cartoon Network.

The Emperor Pilaf Saga begins this episode.

When broadcast in Germany the episodes were never edited or cut. People living in the UK who had Satellite could recieve the channel that the episodes were broadcasted on.

2. The Emperor's Quest

As they are driving, Bulma is attacked and kidnapped by a pterodactyl, and Goku quickly saves her. Night falls, and they stop to take a rest. Goku wonders where they are going to rest, and Bulma introduces "DynoCaps", small capsules that when thrown, can produce things from cars to even houses! She makes a small two-room house for them to stay in for the night.

Meanwhile, a small blue dwarf is having delusions of controlling the world. His name is Emperor Pilaf, a snotty shrimp that insists on wishing for world domination. He controls a gigantic palace, and has scouts looking the world for the balls. One returns suddenly, saying that someone spotted a glow in a valley to the north. Pilaf sends his two top underlings, Shao and Mai, to go and investigate. Pilaf already has one of the balls, while Bulma has three (including Goku's).

Bulma notices that Goku smells really bad, so she forces him to take a bath. While undressing, she is suprised to find that Goku's tail is REAL! She lets him bathe, and then wants to take her own turn next. Goku barges in while she's relaxing in the tub, and she screams at him for intruding. (Goku's confused: after all, she washed HIS back. . .) Goku decides to go look for some food to eat. He stumbles into the exact same valley Shao and Mai are patrolling, and knocks out their helicopter, mistaking it for a bird. Once on the ground, the two soon realize that the 'glow' was really the eyes of all the wolves that lived in this valley. Incidentally, Goku saves them, by trying to catch some dinner for himself. He brings a skinned wolf back to Bulma, who screams at him yet again for bringing something so disgusting back.

In the morning, they recieve a strange visitor - a turtle. He says he was lost from his master, who lives down by the beach. Goku offers to take him home for him, but Bulma tells him that the beach is too far out of their way. Goku doesn't seem to mind, and begins jogging down the road with the turtle on his back. Afraid for herself, Bulma follows Goku on a motorcycle.

NOTE: In the original version, during the night, while Bulma is asleep, Gokou tries to lay down on her crotch, remembering 'grandfather's golden pillow'. He's surprised at what he finds, removing her underwear, and screaming "No balls!" Bulma is shocked, waking up, thinking the Dragonballs were stolen. When he tells her that they're safe, she goes back to bed, not realizing what just occured. This was cut in the US version.

Certain scenes of Goku being washed by Bulma were cut for being too revealing.

When Goku throws his power pole to save Bulma, you can see a small sparle under Bulma. In the comics, she pissed her pants.

3. The Nimbus Cloud of Roshi

Goku and Bulma finally reach the beach with Tortoise. (Goku is amazed at all the water in one place, and is dismayed to find out how bad it tastes.) A bear interrupts them on the way there, and Goku has his first real battle, easily defeating the bear in seconds. Goku bids goodbye to Tortoise, and sets him into the sea. Tortoise tells them to wait, he has a gift to give to them. Tortoise returns with his master, the Turtle Hermit, Master Roshi, and introduces him to Bulma and Goku. Roshi wants to reward Goku with a gift, so gives him the magical Flying Nimbus Cloud, a cloud that can fly anywhere, but can only be ridden by those of pure heart. Roshi tries to demonstrate, but falls through it. Goku, of course, rides it with ease.

Meanwhile, Pilaf's next target is Roshi's house, because apparently the old master has a Dragonball in the vicinity. He furiously tries to unlock the door with a key, but it doesn't work. Mai bluntly points out that there's a window open already.

At the beach, Bulma also demands a prize from Roshi, despite Tortoise's comments that Goku was the only one who helped him. She immediately notices the Dragonball hanging from Roshi's neck, and asks for it. Roshi asks her for a date in return, and she screams at him instead. He lets her have it, oblivious to its real power, and Bulma happily scores her 4th Dragonball. Roshi heads back to his island and the Kame House, only to find that Pilaf and the others have ripped it apart trying to find the Dragonball. Pilaf shouts at Roshi, asking him where his Dragonball is. Roshi shrugs, saying he gave it to the pretty girl who was just at the beach. Pilaf goes insane, and they hop back into their ship, asking Roshi to shove it off the beach for them. He does, but not before ripping a hole in the bottom!

NOTE: In the original version, Roshi demands that Bulma show him her breasts in return for the Dragonball. Bulma forgets that Gokou removed her panties the previous night, and just pulls up her dress, giving Roshi more than he bargained for. In the edited version, he asks for a date.

Roshi could no longer ride Nimbus because of his perverted ways.

Master Roshi's name in the original japanese is Kame-Sen'nin or, the Turtle Master. He is also known as the Lord Muten Roshi, the Invincible Old Master.

4. Oolong the Terrible

Goku and Bulma's quest brings them next to a small village, that they learn is being terrorized by an ogre who steals young ladies. An old woman in the village owns the sixth Dragonball, and so Bulma and Goku decide to defeat the ogre and save the girls in return for the ball. Their first plan is dress Goku up as a girl, and send him outside to fight Oolong. He goes outside, and Oolong, a large red oni, walks up, and sees Goku trembling. Oolong percieves that the little girl is scared, so he changes into a suave secret agent. (The truth is that Goku really has to use the bathroom.) Bulma sees this change, and runs out of the house, not thinking. Goku immediately rushes into the bushes to relieve himself. Oolong is confused that there are two new women here, and then sees what Goku's doing in the bushes. He changes into a large bull and gets ready to pound the unsuspecting Goku, when he suddenly rushes out of town and turns behind a wall. He de-transforms into a small pig in a communist hat, his real form. It seems that he never mastered shapeshifting properly, and can only hold a transformation for five minutes. He quickly comes back, as a robot with a bowl of soup (in which he plans to 'boil' Goku). He gets careless and burns himself on the steaming soup, and he chases into a bat and flies away. Goku pursues him with his new Flying Nimbus, and Oolong's transformation time eventually runs out, and he's caught by Goku. Oolong is forced to show where he's keeping the girls, in a large pagoda. (It seems that the girls like it there -- they don't have to do any work, and order HIM around.) Oolong is actually a big coward, and he thought that if he could learn to change form, he could boss people around. Bulma decides to take Oolong with them, because he could prove helpful. They take the Dragonball, and head out for their next target.

5. Yamcha the Desert Bandit

To get to the next Dragonball, Goku, Bulma, and Oolong must cross the Diablo Desert, a wide, vast, empty place which Oolong is afraid of. While they are driving, Oolong asks for something to eat, and Bulma hands him a yellow pill, in which she says is very nutritous. When Bulma insists on going through the Diablo Desert to reach the next Dragonball, Oolong changes into a fish and jumps into a nearby river to escape, but he's lured back by some cash. He tries to run again, until Bulma shouts "Piggy! Piggy! Piggy!", forcing Oolong to go to the bathroom. It turns out that the yellow pill that Bulma fed Oolong will force him to go to the bathroom every time she utters the word "Piggy". Bulma opens up her DynoCap box to get a faster car, when she realizes that she's all out. She tries to force Oolong to change into a car, but he can't carry both of them, and they're forced to walk.

Out in the desert, Bulma demands to take a rest under a shady rock formation. She ends up falling asleep, leaving Goku and Oolong in charge. Suddenly a strange man appears, introducing himself as Yamcha, the Desert Bandit. His partner, Puar, a small blue rabbit, recognizes Oolong as the bully who used to steal her lunch money at shapeshifting school. Yamcha plans to rob Goku and Co., so instead, Goku fights him off, eventually knocking his tooth out. He's enraged at Goku, not for the pain, but for ruining his 'beautiful face'. At this moment Bulma wakes up, forcing Yamcha to retreat with Puar. Back at his hideout, he explains to Puar that he's extremely shy around women. He vows revenge against Goku, who is currently whining for something to eat.

NOTE: In the unedited version of this episode, after Oolong tries to get away by turning into a fish, Bulma lures him back by using not a wad of cash, but a pair of women's underwear.

6. Keep an Eye on the Dragon Balls

It's getting dark, so Oolong forks over his only DynoCap, a double-decker motorhome. Bulma goes up to take a bath, grumbling about the condition of the dirty bus. At the table, Goku explains to Oolong what the Dragonballs are for. Meanwhile, outside the van, Pilaf has sent Shao and Mai once again to retrieve the Dragonballs. Shao plans to set a bomb on the bus, but sets it on his hand by accident. He sets it to blow up later, so that they have time to get it off. Yamcha and Puar are sitting on the opposite side, overhearing Goku's conversation about the Dragonballs. He creeps around to enter from behind, but accidentally gets a large glimpse of Bulma's nude bust in the window! He screams and runs away as well. Bulma gets out of the bath, and demands some clothing. Oolong tells her he'll do the wash later, but he doesn't have anything for her to wear right now. Getting angrier, she tells them she's going to bed, and tells them NOT to sneak into her room. Oolong hands Goku a drink, telling him that it's tasty. Goku drinks it, and doesn't like it. That's because Oolong put Sleepy Grass in it, a chemical which causes the user to fall asleep. Goku's conked out, so Oolong sneaks into the next room to steal the Dragonballs for himself. Yamcha and Puar enter next, also wanting the balls for themselves. Puar transforms into a hideous version of Goku, while Yamcha sneaks upstairs. Oolong is about to walk back in, when he hears footsteps. Suprised at how quick Goku woke back up, (not realizing it's really Puar), he transforms into a midget-sized Bulma, and forces Puar/Goku to go outside. They eventually realize what each other's doing, and race back to the bus. Upstairs, Yamcha is fondling around in the darkness to look for the balls. He mistakes Bulma's breasts under the blanket for the Dragonballs, and soon realizing what he's really grabbing! The night ends with Yamcha dashing out of the house with Puar, while Oolong hides, expecting abuse from Bulma.

The next morning, Shao and Mai finally get the bomb strapped to the bus with one hour to spare. Bulma wakes up and puts on the only clothes Oolong has in the car, which turns out to be a playboy bunny outfit. Oolong starts driving, when Goku notices a two-seater driving behind them. It's none other than Yamcha and Puar, come to steal the Dragonballs once again. Goku and the others get out of the bus to stop the two bandits once and for all. Goku starts fighting Yamcha again, and easily beats him up. As Goku and Co. watch Yamcha drive off in shame, Shao and Mai wonder if the bomb was a dud, and enter the bus to steal the Dragonballs. The bus of course explodes on them, but they do survive. Bulma doesn't really know what to do now, since their only means of transportation was destroyed. Yamcha suddenly comes back, and offers them the car he was driving in. Bulma is skeptical, and checks the car for bombs. Goku trusts Yamcha, and they drive off to the next location in it. Yamcha did have a catch, however. . .he has radar in the car that will allow them to know where Goku and the others are at all times. His plan is to let them get all 7 Dragonballs, and then steal them at the last moment and make his wish: to never be shy around women again!

7. The Ox-King on Fire Mountain

Goku and Co. reach their next destination, Mt. Frypan, which is where the six-star Dragonball supposedly resides. The Ox King is fabled to live here, a fearsome man who eats people. The mountain itself is aflame, so Goku heads up with Flying Nimbus to check out the castle. Meanwhile, Yamcha and Puar take the back way to follow Goku. They run into a small girl with a bladed helmet on, who is being attacked by a dinosaur. Yamcha is about to help her, when she throws the blade on her helmet to cut off the dinosaur's head. She almost hits Yamcha too, but he quickly knocks her out. Goku flies up to look at the castle, but some wind knocks Nimbus out of control, and Goku falls into a lake. The Ox-King, a large man with a helmet on, attacks Bulma and Oolong, mistaking them for thieves. Goku uses his PowerPole to come to their rescue, but can't seen to hurt Ox-King. Ox recognizes Goku's pole, however, asking if he got it from a man named Gohan. Goku says that Gohan is his grandfather. They engage in an interesting conversation, and the Ox-King explains that he and Gohan trained under Master Roshi, (who gave Goku his Flying Nimbus) and they became great friends. He is dismayed to find that Gohan was killed by a large monster. Ox-King then tells Goku that Master Roshi has a powerful relic called the Bansho Fan, which can put out fire. This fire on the mountain has been blocking Ox-King out of his castle for a while now. Ox also asks Goku to find his daughter while he's out. If Goku can find her, Ox agrees to allow him to marry her. (Goku's confused as to what getting married is.) Yamcha and Puar, who are listening from behind a rock, realize that the girl they knocked out was Chi-Chi. They rush back and wake her up, and Yamcha lies about being in love with her so that he can be the one that brings her back. As she is about to speak, he hears Goku coming, and dashes off. Goku explains what's going on to Chi-Chi, and she offers to join him to get the Bansho Fan. She can ride the Nimbus, but in doing so, she pulls on Goku's tail, uncovering Goku's only weak spot -- when his tail is grabbed, he loses all his power. Yamcha, hiding once again, hears this, and wonders if there is hope for him after all.

8. The Kamehameha Wave

Goku and Chi Chi make it to Kame House and find Master Roshi. He says he'll help put out the flames on Fire Mountain if Goku gets him a date with Bulma. But Turtle reminds Master Roshi that he was using the Bansho Fan as a placemat which he spilled soup on and had to throw out. So he decides to put out the flames himself, using the Kamehameha Wave.

NOTE: This is the first appearence of the Kamehameha Wave, this special technique becomes Goku's strongest in Dragon Ball and also later on in DBZ and DBGT.

Translated, Kamehameha Wave means Turtle Hermit Destruction Wave.

In the original unedited version of this episode, Roshi's favor in return for the Dragon Ball is for Bulma to strip down her clothes instead of her taking a walk down the beach with him.

9. Boss Rabbit's Magic Touch

As the search continues, our heroes arrive in a town where everyone seems afraid of Bulma. They think she is apart of the Rabbits. But then two armed men dressed in Rabbit uniforms arrive and start trouble and Goku easily defeats them. But can Goku defeat their boss, a giant rabbit named Monster Carrot, whose touch can turn objects into carrots.

NOTE: If you're familiar with Japanese Sailor Moon, you've probably heard something like the rabbit on the moon is pounding moochi. This is a pun in Dragon Ball that is lost in the English dub.

In one version Boss Rabbit says "I appologize, and just so there's no hard feelings lets shake".But in another he says "yo lay me some skin"

10. The Dragon Balls Are Stolen

Yamcha and Puar join Goku, Bulma and Oolong as they go after Emperor Pilaf, who now has six of the dragon balls.

Trapped inside Pilaf's castle, Goku and the others get stuck in a giant pinball machine while Pilaf summons the Eternal Dragon.

Before Pilaf can make his wish, Oolong interupts and wishes for a pair of underwear. The dragon balls turn to stone and are scattered across the world. Angered, Pilaf threatens to fry Goku and the others alive. But there happens to be a full moon out...

13. The Legend of Goku

Transformed by the full moon into a giant monster, Goku begins destroying Pilaf's castle. Pilaf tries to save his castle, while Goku's friends try to return Goku to normal.

With the Dragon Balls scattered and useless for one year, Goku heads to Master Roshi's island for training. But another boy, Krillin, arrives too.

This marks the first appearence of Krillin, who becomes Goku's best friend throughout his lifetime.

15. Look Out for Launch

Goku and Krillin travel on the Flying Nimbus looking for a girl for Master Roshi. On the way, they rescue an innocent girl named Launch. They take her back to Kame House, unaware that whenever Launch sneezes, she transforms into an uncontrollable warrior.

NOTE: Originally in the scene where Goku, Krillin and Roshi see Launch change for the first time and she pulls her gun on them after realising what she's wearing, Krilliin is apparently shot once or twice in the forehead. But luckily he's "Head-Strong". Pardon the Pun.

16. Find That Stone!

Master Roshi takes Goku, Krillin and Launch to a larger island to begin the boys' training. He starts by timing Goku and Krillin's speed. As a test to see who gets dinner, Roshi throws a stone with a symbol on it into the jungle to see who gets it first.

17. Milk Delivery

The training continues, though it's a bit unusual. First, Master Roshi has Goku and Krillin deliver milk all across the island, with the last stop being ontop of a mountain. All this and they'll have to do it everyday until the World Martial Arts Tournament.

18. The Turtle Hermit Way

The rigorous training for the World Martial Arts Tournament continues. Now Goku and Krillin do construction work, move boulders, evade bees and swim laps. It gets even harder when they have to wear 50 pound turtle shells on their backs.

19. The Tournament Begins

After eight months of training, it is time for the World Martial Arts Tournament. As Master Roshi signs them up, Goku and Krillin meet up with Yamcha, Bulma, Puar and Oolong. Yamcha has signed up to fight in the tournament too. Before any of them can get there though, they'll have to make it past the elimination round.

21. Smells Like Trouble

The final eight competitors of the World Martial Arts Tournament draw lots for their match-ups. Krillin is up in the first match, against the disgusting Bacterian. It will take some of Krillin's best moves to defeat him.

22. Yamcha vs. Jackie Chun

The match between Jackie Chun and Yamcha ends, with Jackie Chun coming out as the winner. But there is a mysterious secret about Jackie Chun. What could it be?

23. Monster Beast Giran

Goku is up against the monstorous Giran and does well against the powerful attacks at first. But Giran takes Goku by surprise, leaving him defenseless from being thrown out of the ring. Goku's going to have to come up with something to get out of this and win the match.

24. Krillin's Frantic Attack!

The semi-finals have begun as Jackie Chun and Krillin's match begins. Jackie's strength and speed may just be to much for the young warrior, preventing him from winning the match.

NOTE: In the unedited version, Krillin`s secret weapon against Jackie Chun wasn't "Hey your shoes are untied!" and kicking him out of the ring. Instead Krillin drops a pair of womens underwear and while Jackie Chun grabs it Krillin kicks him out of the ring.

25. Danger from Above

In the final match of the semi-finals, Goku is up against Nam, who wants the tournament prize money for his drought-stricken village. Nam proves to be very formidable and a large battle ensues.

The final match of the World Tournament has begun, with Goku and Jackie Chun primed to fight. Student and master will pull out whatever tricks they can to be victor.

27. Number One Under the Moon

The final match has gone on for hours as both fighters match each other in every way. Jackie has no choice but to use his 'World Surprise Attack', which renders Goku under great pain and nearly forces him to give up the match. But at that moment, Goku spots the newly risen full moon, turning the tables on a now frantic Jackie Chun.

28. The Final Blow

To stop the transformed Goku's monstrous rampage, Jackie Chun readied his Kamehameha Wave. Instead of hitting Goku as the others thought, Jackie aimed for and destroyed the moon. With Goku having returned to normal, the match continues. But both fighters are now seriously weakened and will decide the Tournament in hand to hand combat.

NOTE: In the US version, when Goku recovers from the attack from his own master, we see a rock covering his private part. In the original, there wasn't any rock, his private was really showing! It was WAY inappropriate for many US audiences.

There, she and her mother unfreezes Goku and gives him hot cocoa. After beating up some soldiers, they tell him about the Red Ribbon Army's western fortress here, the Muscle Tower and their hostage, the cheif of Jingle Village. Goku then volunteers to rescue the cheif and put an end to General White's evil deeds.

40. Horrifying Buyon

Goku and Android 8 finally reach the top of Muscle Tower, and confront General White. He has one last trick up his sleeve, however, and opens up a trapdoor beneath Goku and Eighter, dropping them down into the mysterious "Fifth Floor", which looks like a grimy sewer. There they encounter Buyon, a disgusting purple blob-like monster. None of Goku's attacks seem to phase it, so eventually Goku knocks open a hole in the wall, and freezes Buyon, and then breaks him into pieces. With that done, they open the hatch and jump back up to face General White.

41. The Fall of Muscle Tower

Goku easily beats up General White, and demands that he frees the village chief. White says he will, but secretly slips a pistol into his pocket. He opens the door to the village chief, and then holds a gun to his head. Goku and Eighter are stuck about what to do, and White tells Eighter that he'll spare him if he proves his loyalty by killing Goku. Eighter's hatred of violence keeps him from doing anything at all, and Goku jumps out to save the chief. White shoots him in the chest, knocking him back. He seems dead, so, in rage, Eighter lashes out and slams White. The chief runs, and Eighter picks up Goku and escapes from the tower. Outside, Goku seems to still be barely conscious, and Eighter rips the bricks out of the bottom of the tower, causing it to collapse. He and the Chief race back to the village to administer some medication to Goku.

42. The Secret of Dr. Flappe

Goku, Eighter, and the Village Chief return to Sunao's house, and they have a happy welcome back party. The chief offers Eighter a home in the village, but he declines, saying he can never live here because the Red Ribbon Army had built a bomb into his body, which could explode at any time. The chief tells him to go up to Dr. Flappe's house, a fabled scientist who could definitely remove the bomb. Goku offers to come with him, because his Dragon Radar was broken during his adventure in Muscle Tower. Sunao also comes with them. Meanwhile, in the rubble of Muscle Tower, Murasaki climbs out, still alive. He follows them to Flappe's house, but falls into a frozen lake on the way there. They reach Flappe's house, but the doctor doesn't seem to be home. He comes up on a snowspeeder, and welcomes them inside. He tells them to wait out there, and goes into the back room to take off his coat. As he does, Murasaki hops into the window, and tells Flappe to activate the bomb in Eighter right away. It seems that Flappe is working for the RRA, and was the one that built the androids. (This is obviously Murasaki's mistake -- we learn in Dragonball Z that Dr. Gero was the original creator of all the androids. Flappe must have been a helper of some sort.) Sunao comes in the room, wondering where Flappe went, and Murasaki takes her hostage. Eighter and Goku come back, and Eighter knocks Murasaki out the window. He jumps onto Flappe's snowspeeder and drives off. Goku follows him, and finally beats him up. Flappe apologizes to Eighter, and takes the bomb out of him. Unfortunately, the Dragon Radar is too sophisticated to fix. Goku and the others go back to the village, and Goku turns odwn their request for him to stay, and he leaves to search for Bulma to fix the radar.

43. A Trip to the City

Goku reaches West City, and tries to track down Bulma to get his Dragon Radar fixed. He quickly learns that you can't get anything in this city without money, so enters a fighting contest with a famous fighter to win some money. Afterwards, he's approached by thugs, who he easily takes care of. He eventually finds a policeman, who happily takes him to Bulma's house for him (after a series of grueling questions).

44. Master Thief, Haski

Goku enters Bulma's house, finally meeting her dad, the creator of the Capsule Corp., and her ditzy mother. Bulma introduces her latest invention, the Micro Band, which allows her to shrink to a tiny size. She quickly fixes the Dragon Radar for Goku, and asks if he wants to go to the amusement park with her. Goku doesn't really know what it is, so she just drags him along.

Meanwhile, the Red Ribbon Army sends out Haski, one of their underlings, to track down Goku. She partners up with the thugs he beat up on his way to Bulma's house, and they begin to follow Bulma and Goku, who are headed to Yamucha's house.

Once there, Bulma argues with Yamucha a bit over his frequenting with many women. Goku decides to invite him, as well as Oolong and Puar, to the amusement park with them, despite Bulma's whining.

45. Danger in the Air

Goku and the gang reach the "Dream Land" amusement park. Haski, however, has followed them there. While Goku pesters the clerk about what a ticket is, Haski demonstrates her theiving abilities by stealing three tickets from bystanders. Inside the park, Bulma refuses to go anywhere with Yamucha. They eventually come to a fortune teller, which is Haski in disguise, who insists on reading Goku's fortune. Since Yamucha is so weak around women, it's easy for her to trick Goku into handing over the Dragonballs. After some chaos inside the tent, Bulma arrives, to see Yamucha's arms around Haski (when his real intent was to take back the Dragonballs). Extremely pissed, Bulma hits both Yamucha AND Haski. Haski doesn't give up, threatening to blow up Dream Land with a bomb she hid somewhere in the park. She escapes, and a high-speed sky chase occurs between her jet pack and Goku's Flying Nimbus. She's eventually cornered and smashed into a wall. Goku recovers the Dragonballs, and decides to eat the detonator to disable it. After peace is restored to Dream Land, Goku and Bulma finally begin their journey for the rest of the Dragonballs.

46. Bulma's Bad Day

Goku and Bulma finally set off on their quest for the Dragonballs. Following the dragon radar, they realize the 4-star ball is at the bottom of the ocean. They stop at a nearby island to use as their HQ, which, incidentally, is the same island that General Blue is using for his headquarters. As Goku tries to dive down to the bottom of the sea, Bulma is attacked by two of Blue's men. She manages to thwart them, and Goku quickly comes to her rescue (after realizing that the sea is too deep to swim down). They decide that they need to find a submarine to reach the Dragonball in the ocean, and Goku suggests heading to Master Roshi's to borrow his. Bulma is strongly against the idea, but goes along anyway for the sake of the Dragonballs.

47. Kame House: Found!

Goku and Bulma manage to track down Kame Island, and head down for a visit. To their dismay, Master Roshi tells them that Krillin and Launch took the sub out to buy groceries. He tells them he'll let them have it, in return for Bulma's Micro Band. She happily hands it over, thankful he didn't ask for anything more 'risque'. While Goku is waiting for Krillin and Launch to return, Bulma goes into the bathroom to 'wash up'. Master Roshi tries to sneak a peak with the help of the Micro Band, but ends up getting flushed down the toilet. Eventually, after a scuffle at the marketplace in which Launch sneezed and transformed, Krillin and Launch return. After dinner, Krillin decides to accompany Goku and Bulma on their journey, and they set off into the sea.

48. Deep Blue Sea

Goku, Bulma, and Krillin enter the sea with the submarine. They search around for a while, following the radar, until they discover an underwater cave. At the same time, however, General Blue is sending half of his army to attack the Kame House, and taking half of his army with him to snatch the dragonball underwater. He thinks that Master Roshi is the scientist who built Bulma's radar, and tells them to take the old man alive. Roshi, meanwhile, is still planning to sneak a peek and Launch with the Micro Band. General Blue heads underwater, and starts firing missiles at Goku and the gang, cornering them inside the cave.

49. Roshi's Surprise

Roshi is still trying to lure Lunch into the bathroom. He accidentally causes her to sneeze, turning her into the sadistic Launch. After some arguments, he is forced to give her a massage and make dinner for her. Eventually, Tortoise uses a palm tree to make her sneeze again, and revert. Soon, the RR Air Force arrives at the Kame House, and demands that Roshi hands over the Dragonballs and the device. Roshi is suprised, because he didn't know that Bulma had left her Dragonballs here. After making a fool of the fat general, he uses some Kame technique to dispose of the army. He is almost through, when the last man grabs Lunch as a hostage. Roshi backs up, and there seems to be no alternatives. Suddenly, Tortoise uses the palm again, causing Lunch to transform into Launch, now more pissed off than ever. Word gets back to the RR Headquarters that the whole 2nd Blue Team was disposed of by a kid, infuriating General Red. General Blue, however, is busy chasing Goku and the gang through the cave. Goku finds a skull on the pathway, scaring Bulma and Krillin. They ask Goku where he found it, and he points over to a skeleton clad in pirate attire. This is when Bulma and Krillin realize they came into the pirate cave that Roshi had been rambling on about earlier. They jump for joy (Bulma, once again, only thinking for herself) and continue into the cave, General Blue close behind them.

50. The Trap is Sprung

Goku, Bulma, and Krillin venture deeper into the cave, when they find a large hallway filled with holes. Krillin finds that when a hole on the floor is stepped on, an arrow will shoot out of a random hole on the walls. Goku decides to jump across, and Krillin barely makes it. As for Bulma, she is dragged over with the Powerpole screaming and crying. Meanwhile, General Red is having a portrait painted of himself. The painting turns out to potray him as a gigantic man and General Black as a shrimp. (The exact opposite of reality.) Black bends down to look at the painting, and General Red yells at him: "You're never supposed to bend down and talk to me!"

Back at the cave, Goku and the gang have eluded the trap successfully and General Blue leads his army onward. He motivates his men by giving them a long speech about the pride of the Red Ribbon army and whatnot and they charge ahead, leaving him dawdling behind. Disturbing screams and cries echo throughout the cave. General Blue grows even scared of Goku and can hardly bear to see what fate has befallen his men. He is horrified to see all his men who ran into the trap and got skewered, leaving him by himself. As he surveys the scene, he finds a secret passage to the side that bypasses the hallway of death.

Goku and Co. journey deeper into the cavern, nearly falling down a pit of lava but Goku's PowerPole saves them again. They finally come to a very large room which appears to be a docking bay of some sort, and a large submarine sitting in it. They wonder what kind of a place they have stumbled onto, when Goku senses something or someone is nearby -- but whatever it is it's not human.... General Blue comes out of a door on the other side and hatches a devious scheme - He'll wait for them to do all the dirty work, then steal the Dragon Ball from them and escape. The mystery monster reveals itself as a large skeleton-like robot, who begins to attack the three adventurers!

51. Beware of the Robot

Goku, Bulma, and Krillin continue to struggle against the Pirate's Robot, not doing very well. Eventually, Bulma runs an explosive truck into it. She jumps out at the last second, and it knocks the robot into the water and explodes. Thinking it's dead, Bulma takes out her Dragon Radar, but the robot's tail creeps out of the water and grabs Goku and pulls him in. Goku gets out, but a wall crumbles on top of him and knocks him out. Bulma and Krillin are chased into a nearby structure, where they find the pirate's control center, and the dead captain. Bulma tries to figure out how the ancient computers work, but it's no use. While General Blue goes over to inspect the KO'ed Goku, he wakes up, and uses his PowerPole to raise himself to the top floor of the structure. The robot has Bulma and Krillin cornered, and sets the structure on fire. Goku saves them and they slide down the PowerPole, while Goku climbs to the top. The robot jumps out after them, but Bulma and Krillin are already running down the next hall, out of the main room. Goku dives onto the robot from the top of the building, crushing it's head and destroying it. Meanwhile, General Blue follows Bulma and Krillin down the winding hallway. At turns, Krillin marks the ground to show Goku the way when he catches up with them, but Blue changes them to go the opposite direction. The structure explodes, and Goku runs down the hallway, going the wrong way. Krillin and Bulma reach the end of the hallway, and, checking the radar, Bulma finds that the Dragonball is below them, in a well filled with water. She and Krillin jump in, General Blue close behind them.

52. The Pirate Treasure

Goku reaches a dead end, when he falls through a hole in the floor, into an octopus's room, who's bent on having HIM for dinner. Meanwhile, Bulma and Krillin resurface at a bank in a cave, and find three treasure chests and a large statue with 10 arms, each holding a sword. It begins to attack them, and Krillin heroicly guards Bulma. After the statue finishes its onslaught, Krillin opens the middle chest first, revealing a trap. He dodges the machine gun fire (because of his lack of height) and opens the left chest next, for a key. They start to use it on the statue to open the next room, when General Blue jumps out of the water. He demands that they give him the key, and he proceeds to beat up Krillin. When he plans to finish Krillin off by dropping a large rock on his head, Goku jumps out of the water and saves Krillin. General Blue prepares to fight. . .

53. Blue, Black and Blue

Goku begins to fight General Blue. Eventually, Blue paralyzes Goku, and gets a shotgun with a DynoCap, preparing to shoot Goku, Krillin, and Bulma. At the last second, a mouse runs across his foot, scaring the crap out of him, and he drops the gun. Goku breaks his paralysis and punches out Blue. The cave really starts to collapse now, and the statue is destroyed, revealing one last waterway passage. Goku dives in to find the Dragonball, and Krillin and Bulma swim back. Goku eventually finds the 3-star ball, and takes it back up. Krillin and Bulma reach the large Sub room, but all the exits are blocked. They are forced to climb into a small submarine, and they don't know if Goku made it or not. Goku is ready to run, but has to find the mouse that scared Blue earlier, and save it. He puts it in his mouth because his pockets are full, and runs back. The walls around the large cove collapse, and Blue wakes up, seeing a large treasure room. He runs in greedily, and is buried beneath rubble. Back at the Sub room, Bulma and Krillin are getting more impatient, and Bulma insists that they leave without Goku to save themselves.

Season 3

54. Escape From Pirate Cave

Goku desperately tries to find his way out of the never-ending labyrinth. This underground pirate cave is just about ready to collapse! Leaving Goku, Krillin and Bulma trapped underneath the ocean forever! As time goes on, Bulma starts to get impatient and is convinced Goku's dead. Krillin pleads that he knows Goku will show up any minute. Just as the cave gives out, Goku speeds out of the demolished maze and jumps into the pirate's sub for a quick escape! Goku has successfully retreived the three star dragonball and defeated General Blue; thanks to the help of a mouse! Unfortunately it's not his Grandpa's four star ball. As the gang tries to make their drastic escape, Bulma has to dodge huge boulders that fall in her path until one finally seals up the exit! It looks like they've reached a dead end! But, Goku narrowly spots a second opening and they jet for freedom. The cave is really falling on them now and with their luck, the sub has run out of power! So Goku decides there's only one thing left for him to do. "Everybody take a deep breath!" Goku says and shoots a huge Kamehameha Wave to propel the sub all the way out of the cave AND the ocean!

They get back to Blue's military base on the island, where they are in search of food and some transportation. They enter the command post where a guard hides in between a rack and a shelf. Commander Red calls on the radio looking for some answers just to find Goku screaming back at a talking-box. He smashes the radio after it gets ancy with him and they leave. Goku calls for Nimbus and Bulma and Krillin ride in a Jet-copter to Master Roshi's island. In spite of a near death experience, Bulma managed to grab a diamond the size of a fist! Which she plans to offer as compensation for destroying Master Roshi's sub.

Meanwhile, Commander Blue surprisingly is alive, popping his head out of the water. He swims back to the base, yells at the guard for his incompetence and kills him, and takes off in a Jet-copter armed with nothing but a roll of rope. He speeds off after Goku in search of revenge and the Dragonballs.

55. Penguin Village

General Blue enters the Kame House and ties up the surprised Goku, Krillin, Master Roshi and Bulma. General Blue plants a detanator set to explode in five minutes next to them and leaves with the recently collected Dragon Balls. Fortunately, Launch returns and unties Goku so he can dispose of the detanator just in time. Goku then takes off on the Flying Nimbus to retrieve the Dragon Balls from General Blue. The high speed chase leads the two to a mysterious town.

56. Strange Visitor

Goku meets a girl named Arale before rushing off after the Dragon Balls. General Blue has survived the crash into the mountain and escapes before Goku arrives. Goku again encounters Arale (who ran all the way there) and accepts her help to find the Dragon Balls. After General Blue causes trouble for residents of Penguin Village, Goku tries using the Dragon Radar to find him, but finds it's broken. Worse, Goku doesn't know how to get back home for Bulma to repair it. Arale then tells him she knows someone who can fix it, Sembei. But unknown to them, General Blue is on his way to Sembei's as well.

57. Arale vs. Blue

With the Dragon Radar repaired, Goku already locks onto to something. He searches around Sembei's place, unaware of General Blue lurking around. When he reveals himself, General Blue freezes Goku again. Before leaving on Sembei's plane with the Dragon Balls and Radar, General Blue decides to finish off Goku. However, Arale leaps in and shows General Blue how she plays tag, sending him flying. With the Dragon Balls recovered and a new Radar, Goku says goodbye to his new friends and resumes his search for the four star Dragon Ball.

58. The Land of Korin

Goku is on his way to the next Dragon Ball, but Captain Yellow and his forces reach it first on the island of Korin. However, it soon falls into the hands of the protector of Korin, Bora, and his son. The Red Ribbon Army try to get it back, but Bora makes quick work of them and only Yellow escapes. When he returns in his plane, Yellow captures Bora's son and threatens to drop him unless he gets the Dragon Ball. But Goku arrives in time to defeat Yellow and save Bora's son. Goku then sees it is the four star Dragon Ball Bora has and is overjoyed to have finally found it.

59. The Nortorious Mercenary

While General Red talks with the infamous Tao, General Blue returns to Red Ribbon Army headquarters. General Red is furious over Blue's recent failures, but will allow him to live if Blue can defeat Tao in battle. Meanwhile on Korin, Goku learns about the tower from Bora and the strength enhancing water at the top. Blue battles Tao, but even his finishing move is useless and Tao wins effortlessly. After learning about Goku and the Dragon Balls, Tao sets out to Korin. Goku expresses eagerness to climb the tower just before Tao arrives. Bora fights him, but Tao kills him mercilessly. Angered, Goku leaps into battle.

As the newly risen Commander Black (Commander Red's lackey) and Goku go head to head, the remaining members of the Red Ribbon Army run for their lives and completely desert the base. Using his Battle Jacket (a gigantic robot that can be controlled from within), Commander Black seems to get the upper hand, that is, until Goku remembers all the innocent people and friends that got hurt at the hands of the merciless Red Ribbon Army. Goku's incredible strength proves to be too much for Commander Black and attempts to escape. Goku wont let him get away this time as he grabs a flag pole, leans back and launches himself towards the Commander. Goku breaks through the the Battle Jacket and destroys it. The infamous Red Ribbon Army has failed and Goku has recovered 2 more Dragon Balls giving him a total of 6. 69. Who Is Fortuneteller Baba?

Goku and the gang meet up at the Kame House and find themselves in a bit of a dilemma. The Dragon Radar wont pick up the last ball. Master Roshi suggests they should ask Fortune Teller Baba (Master Roshi's sister) for help locating the seventh Dragon Ball. Puar, Krillin and Yamcha accompany Goku on his journey to find Fortune Teller Baba. During a brief pit-stop, Goku's uniform starts to rip so he asks for a new one to be made. Soon after, Goku brings Upa along and joins up with the gang. Now the journey is finally underway. When they arrive much to their surprise Fortune Teller Baba is nothing more than a cranky old witch who charges 1 million zeni to tell fortunes and that's after the coupon! Once she finds out they're broke she offers them a second form of payment: Beat all 5 of my fighters and I'll tell your fortune for free. Sounds easy enough, right? Yamcha really said a mouthful when he said this would be easy. As he faces off with someone he can't even see! This battle turns for the worse and all bets are on Baba's team. But when all else fails Yamcha relies on his other sense: Hearing. It seems the tables have turned as Yamcha launches an all out assault on anything that moves. See-Through (The Invisible man) has lost his element of surprise. But just as the odds start to favor Yamcha, Baba starts to sing a annoying song made even worse by her hideous voice. See-Through doesn't waste any time and continuously pummels Yamcha while he's still caught off-guard. Krillin knows Yamcha can't take much more of this punishment and sends Goku to retrieve Master Roshi and a can of tomato soup? Krillin instructs Master Roshi to throw the tomato soup at Yamcha but instead drenches See-Through in it. Yamcha quickly makes mince meat of his opponent and claims the victory. With three fighters to go, the gang eagerly awaits their next match in.... The Devil's Caldron!

He then had Roshi stand in front of Bulma (with Bulma facing him) and tilt his head up. Then... lifted Bulma's shirt up revealing her boobs! Roshi, seeing this and being perverted, squirts out a nosebleed which lands right on the invisible man allowing Yamcha to see him and take him down.

72. Goku's Turn To Fight

After a long, repetitive chant ("Rise and be restored once more!") and all the smoke has cleared, a sarcophagus is revealed! Baba's fighter has finally awakened from its eternal slumber. It seems the fighter Baba conjured up is a mummy called Bandages. This is the third fighter in today's match, renowned for never letting an opponent succeed him in battle. But rest assured that won't stop Goku's "nothing's impossible" attitude from beating this undefeated challenger. First up, Yamcha. Yamcha is confident that if he can keep moving his speed will prevail and the mummy wont touch him. Little does he know that Bandages more than makes up for his weakness as he runs circles around Yamcha! Yamcha can't lay a hand on the mummy and gets hammered. Even his Wolf Fang-Fist was left eating dust! When suddenly Yamcha catches Bandages off-guard, trips him and leaves him to plunge to his doom. Don't count Bandages out just yet as he shoots the bandages that cover his body like a rope and swings back onto the platform. As the mummy resumes his unmatched assault, Goku and the gang can hardly stand to watch the gruesome battle placed before them. Especially Upa (since he feels responsible for getting Yamcha into this mess). So Upa pulls out his ax in an attempt to help but Master Roshi explains that the only person Yamcha is fighting for is himself and his pride refuses defeat. After Yamcha becomes tired, Bandages ensnares him in his signature move: The Stretching Bridge Technique! As Yamcha struggles to keep his back from being broken in two, Puar flies off in an desperate attempt to save Yamcha by turning into a woodpecker and pecks at the invincible giant until he was set free. Now all eyes are upon Goku as he steps up to this menace to avenge Yamcha's defeat.

80. Goku vs. Sky Dragon

Goku has taken his first step into the unknown world. Diligently training his mind and body. Carrying boulders ten times his size and walking up steep mountains on his bare hands! (not a typo) Pouring rain or unbearable heat, will not stop Goku from pursuing his goal: To train his mind, body and tail through random real-world experiences so he can win the next Martial Arts Tournament.

Goku's training takes an unexpected twist when he loses control and starts to speed down the mountain on his hands! But before he can plunge into the canyon, Goku's tail grows back and just in time too! It managed to save his life again as it clings to a tree branch. But as he comments on his tail being stronger than ever and it never breaking again ironically the tree branch snaps instead. Goku falls but he just uses his hands to absorb the fall and flips off a handstand. Goku style. Fatigued and in search of competiton, Goku asks an old woman where the nearest city is and heads off for yet another adventure. He is informed there is a Master Chin worthy of his skills but finds him in the middle of a dispute. It seems Master Chin's son, Shokin, has stolen the wallet of Dragon, Sky Dragon's brother, and is backed by his goons. His brother, Sky, shows up and so to speak bitch-slaps him and apologizes for his brother's rude behavior. But not before Master Chin is forced to defend himself and his son. Master Chin leaps into the air and performs his trademark move the "Phantom-Star" techinque and. After the skirmish, Goku asks for a session with Master Chin and he accepts. They barely have a match. After they briefly attacked each other in the air, Chin's sickness catches up with him. Goku and Shokin put him to bed and make small talk. But, Goku does ask the name of the trick he used against the thugs. Shokin answers that it was the Phantom-Star technique and his father created it. Master Chin goes on to explain that the technique uses an energy that projects an image that doesn't exist. Much like our favored After-Image. Shokin butts in and his father scolds him as he is not ready for such a technique. Goku on the other hand is capable because of his training and discipline. Goku then notices it's like his After-Image technique. The conversation quickly shifts to Master Chin's dilemma which is, he has a very bad condition and is in no shape to fight for the title of Master of Martial Arts. Sky's Panther-Fang school and his brother, Dragon, a.k.a Rising Dragon have driven all his students away by threatening them. And the only chance he has to bring them back is to win the Master of Martial Arts title. Master Chin's condition worsens and is in need of medicine. Goku volunteers but is warned of Sky and his gang, as they may be eager for a fight.

As fortune haves it, Goku passes the restauraunt Sky and Dragon happen to be eating at. Goku dodges Dragon with ease and tricks him into falling in the river. But Sky isn't pleased. He hits Goku without warning. In fact, he hit him so many times in one second even I lost count! "That's fast!", Goku. "Where's that carefree laughter now?", Sky. Goku attempts one more try and gets hit even faster than last time! (At least 15 hits) By this time, he declares Goku unworthy and leaves. Back at Sky's Phantom-Star dojo, his pupils become punching bags as the tries to give them a lesson in combat. It seems even with his hands tied behind his back no one can beat him. So he offers to use no legs either. Some poor sap stands up. With a flick of his eyebrow, Sky spins up like a drill and lands right on his head! Instant K.O.! Later that night, Shokin practices in secret while everyone is asleep. Though he has different reasons and his own personal vandetta he wishes to settle.

The next morning, Shokin asks to fight in his father's place. Chin refuses. Then, Goku volunteers but only does so to improve his training. Shokin still peeved about his father choosing a stranger over his son fixes breakfast angrily. "At least I have enough skill to do that!", yells Shokin. Desperate to prove his worth to his father, Shokin takes matters into his own hands. While preparing the meals, Shokin slips a tablet into Goku's soup. Goku quickly gobbles up the meal without notice. Shokin thinking to himself, "One way or another, I'm going to be in that match." It's time for the match and Goku doesn't even look tired. Shokin stares on with worry now, amazed that Goku hasn't passed out yet and the match is about to begin! Sky Dragon, from the Phantom-Star school and Goku, from the Chin-Star school are about to challenge each other's worth. Although disappointed, Sky accepts and plans to instead humiliate Goku. Let the match begin! Sky and Goku fight as if they were two blurs. Dodging each and every one of each other's moves. Goku goes After-Image in order to lose Sky. There are about 30 different stills of Goku dancing around. So Sky breaks out his Panther-Cyclone and attacks every image until Goku is found. Goku decides to finish this once and for all but his stomach turns on him so he has to call a time-out. Sky is skeptical and calls his bluff. Only Goku isn't faking. He proceeds to attack Goku with no mercy. And Shokin looks on with remorse. Now Goku's angry! They both jump up and launch a signature attack. Sky's "Panther-Cyclone" against Goku's "Phantom-Star"! Goku's dazzling combination of 50 fists and kicks all at once prove to be enough. Sky Dragon has been defeated with a single punch and is sent down for a knock-out! Sky's pupils are surprised and confused. As the crowd chants Goku's name, he runs around in circles(probably searching for a toliet)and screams, "My stomach is about to explode! I shouldn't have eaten that last rice cake!".

Back at Chin's dojo, Goku is thanked by Sky for showing him the error of his ways and Chin for restoring his reputation and bringing his students back. Shokin's guiltiness goes not forgotten and apologizes by making Goku a snack for his long trip ahead. Goku embarks on a new journey and no one knows what exciting adventure awaits him this time. 86. Then There Were Eight

In his first match of the preliminaries, Goku coincidentially gets one of the most dangerous opponents in the world, King Chappa. He is said to be the single greatest warrior of his time, once winning the World Martial Arts Tournament without his opponents laying a single hand on him! Goku has an uncanny smirk, not affected by the rumors.

Ready! Set! Go! Goku gets in the first punch and has King Chappa eating his words. It seems Goku is no ordinary child. Things heat up and the two show no mercy. Finally, one of Goku's combos get through and knock the legendary King Chappa down. But judging from his angry roar, he isn't happy!!! King Chappa is about to use his pantented eight-handed technique. Nicknamed, for it is so quick-his onslaught appears to be comprised of eight hands! But Goku dodges and counters every one of those eight hands quicker than he can throw them. He smirks once more and trips him with his tail. Goku takes to the air and King Chappa prepares to attack. Master Roshi says that was a big mistake, leaving King Chappa with the advantage. Goku rebounds off the ceiling and comes flying at him. King Chappa has him now and takes a huge swing! AMAZINGLY, Goku uses his BREATH to stop him self in mid-air! He lands and with one punch sends King Chappa soaring out of ring! Goku has won! The crowd astounded, what isn't Goku capable of?! Jackie Chun ponders deepily about Goku's new found abilities, thinking Goku is even stronger than him now, he doesn't even take his match seriously much less pay attention to it. His overgrown opponent grows impatient and attacks. Jackie Chun drunk with rage, K.O.'s him in a 3-strike combo! And he was visualizing Goku the entire time! Uh,oh! Goku look sharp now, you've gotten Master Roshi angry!

Goku, Yamcha, Krillin and Jackie Chun finish off the competitors with ease. They didn't even stand a chance. Along with them, Tien and Chiaotzu make it to the semi-finals. But before the secondary elimination round, they are allowed a 90-minute lunch break. Elsewhere, Bulma, Puar, and Oolong enjoy the festivities before it's time for the grand finals. Eating a much deserved lunch now, Goku, scarves his food down plate by plate. Interrupting their meal, Tien causes a commotion when he is dissatisfied with his meal. Yamcha gets involved and they challenge each other to a showdown, right then and there. But Jackie Chun stops Yamcha and tells them if they fight they'll be disqualified, "Save it for the match.", he says. Just then, a long forgotten friend arrives. It's Nam! And he's back for a rematch. But this time it's for his personal gain to become a better fighter.

One hundred and eighty-two of the competitors have been finished off and eight fighters are left. To their surprise, they find Nam defeated and in a near-death state. Who could've done this?! Only one person I know could have. Tien! The second elimination round has ended and the gang reconvenes for an update. Goku, Yamcha, Krillin and Jackie Chun have made it to the semi finals along with four others(not counting Tien and Chiaotzu). Who could they be? 87. Yamcha vs. Tien

The excitement grows as everyone eggs on the Grand Finals. Goku remains calm while others are more nervous. Tien shows up and insults Yamcha as usual. Then, Chiaotzu comes along and Krillin gives him a piece of his mind. "Are you going to say something or what?"(Honestly, I understand. Chaiotzu never says a word!)"Baldy!" replies Chiaotzu. WHAAAAAAT?!, the insulted Krillin yells. "It's not exactly like you have a lion's maine under there, cueball!"(If anyone watched this ep. closely enough I may have words slighty off. So, if you can, send me the exact quotes in the viewer's comments. thanks)Not exactly, says Chiaotzu. He removes his hat only to reveal.......there's only ONE SQUIGGLY HAIR under there!!! Tien shelters Chiaotzu as if he were his older brother telling him to put his hat back on before he catches a cold. Like Tien actually has a sensitive side to him!

Outside, Oolong and Puar go off in search of Master Roshi. Puar checks the crowd and Oolong checks all the bathrooms. Oolong opens one bathroom door too many and is slapped by a girl in the GIRL'S restroom! Oolong gives up and returns to Bulma Master Roshi'less. Master Shen offers a hand and says he'll find him for them.

Back stage, the announcer appears and the remaining 8 fighters draw numbers for placement in their matches. Tien continues talking to Chiaotzu, when Chiaotzu mysteriously points his finger and causes the numbers in the drawing box to spin around! They're cheating! Placing Master Roshi with Man-Wolf, Tien with Yamcha, and after a brief mispronounciation, Chiaotzu cheats for himself and pits himself against Krillin. Automatically, Goku is placed against Pamput. What kind of power is this? Only time will tell. Say a prayer for Krillin, if that's only a taste of one of the many tricks Chiaotzu has in store for him. Back outside, Master Shen asks an announcer to give an insulting page to find Master Roshi over the loudspeaker. The gang is disgusted but agree at the same time. Master Roshi is not one to be "clean" of all sins.

First match! Yamacha vs. Tien! Yamcha, representing the Turtle Hermit house and Tien, representing the Crane Hermit house. Let the match begin! Over the wall, Goku, Krillin, Jackie Chun and Chiaotzu look on with intensity. Goku has a brief flashback from the Inoshika episode, where Tien tried to kill him and left him for dead under a tree. But back to the match, Dear God!, these two are fighting with everything they've got! Wow! Flip, flip, punch! Block, block, counter! Kick, kick, jump! What's going on! They are evenly matched! Neither can believe their skills. Yamcha decides to break out his new technique, Wolf-Fang Rolling Wind! Stay tuned for the next episode, where Yamcha may end this fight PERMANENTLY! 101. The Fallen

Having barely escaped the devastating tri-beam attack, Goku and Tien are now high above the stadium. Due to a collision with a truck, Goku hits the ground first and Tien is declared the winner. As former rivals become friends and celebrate a well fought tournament, a mysterious enemy's attack steals a friend's life.

103. Tambourine Attacks!

Goku catches up with the killer. The killer is a demon named Tambourine and gladly tells Goku about how he kills Krillin for the dragonball and lists of the martial arts society. Tambourine beats up Goku by blasting a beam at the flying nimbus causing Goku to fall into the woods. Tambourine beats the crud out of Goku and continues going back to King Piccolo thinking he is dead. Meanwhile back at the martial arts tournament the gang decides to go back to Kami Island with Krillin`s dead body. Tambourine gets back to King Piccolo. Piccolo tells Tambourine

to post the martial arts society pictures on the wall. Piccolo

commands Tambourine to go and kill the entire martial arts society to make sure no one can use the evil containment wave and trap King Piccolo in the electric jar again. Tambourine goes and kills King Chapa and Pamfoot.

104. Mark of the Demon

Tambourine continues his killing rampage by killing Bacterian and Manwolf. Back at the Kame house Master Roshie and the gang think of a plan to defeat King Piccolo using the Daragonballs

and to make a freezing capsule to perserve Krilllin`s body for another year. King Piccolo creates another demon called Cymbal to

get the dragonballs. Goku wakes up trying to find food. He finds a fish cooking above a fire and decides to eat it. A boulder is thrown at him. Goku dodges the boulder and threatens the stranger to come out. The stranger comes out claiming that Goku stole his fish.

105. Here comes Yajirobe

The stranger tells Goku that he stole his Breakfast. Goku says that can he prove it was his fish. The stranger tells Goku that he was cooking that fish. Goku sees that the stranger has a dragonball hanging on his neck as a bracelet. Goku then thinks that he works with Tambourine and they start fightingn him. After they are done fighting Goku asks the stranger`s name. The stranger says his name is Yajirobe and Goku tells his own name.

Goku asks where Yajirobe got the dragonball. Yajirobe says that he found it 3 years ago in the jungle. Goku realizes that the whole fight was a misunderstanding. Then Cymbal comes asking for the dragonball. Goku relaizes that Cymbal works with Tambourine. Yajirobe doesn`t give up his dragonball and fights him. Right when Cymbal was going to use his killer attack Yajirobe grabs his sword and cuts Cymbal in half. King Piccolo finds out about Cymbal`s death telephatically linked and starts to have a killer headacke.

106. Terrible Tambourine

Tambourine continues his seek-and-slaughter campagign of Martial Artists as he sets his sight on victom number eight! Yamcha! Master Roshi takes Tien and Chiaotzu on a cross-country race for the Dragon Balls. As they try to stay ahead of the competion, King Piccolo and his dastardly horde. Meanwhile Goku attempts to persuade mountain-boy Yajirobe to hand over his Dragon Ball to help save Krillin!

108. Goku`s Revenge

Tambourine arrives to exact revenge on the murderer of his 'brother' Cymbal. Goku tells Yajirobe that it is his turn to fight, and Yajirobe consents, as long as he can eat the monster.

Tambourine laughs and can't believe that Goku wants to challenge him again. Goku says that he'll win this time because he is full and not hungry. Goku then beats the living tar out of Tambourine. Tambourine appears dead, but gets up and fires an energy ball at Goku. It appears to have incinerated Goku, but Goku was too fast for it.

Tambourine tries to fly away, but Goku uses his power pole to propel himself upwards and powers up a Kamehameha. He then incinerates Tambourine.

King Piccolo feels Tambourine's death through his mental link and goes to avenge his death himself. The episode ends as Pilaf's airship appears in the skies above Goku and Yajirobe.

Later in Dragonball Z, you learn that Nameks lay (or spit out, in this case) eggs to hatch other Nameks. However, this does not explain Tambourine and Cymbal, who looked nothing like Nameks.

Counter: King Piccolo was created when one Namek separated into his good and evil sides. King Piccolo, the evil half, spawned four Demi-Nameks: Piano, Tamborine, Cymbal, and Drum. Because of their father's origins, they are not true Nameks. Piccolo Jr. is a reincarnation of his father, and so is a true Namek (or rather, half of one, since he inherited his father's link with Kami). We can presume that since he is the evil half of Kami like his father was, he can also spawn Demi-Nameks or a reincarnation when he dies. However, the character never does this in the series, most likely because Akira Toriyama felt it didn't fit the character's personality to do such a thing (plus, as a youthful Namek, he really doesn't need to summon Demi-Nameks to do his dirty work), especially after befriending Gohan (would YOU reincarnate yourself if you'd just sacrificed your own life to save another that you cared about, especially when there's a chance to get resurrected? I don't think so!).

Counter: Actually, there's no proof that there is anthing called "Demi-Nameks." Back in Dragon Ball, nobody even knew what a Namek was. Akira Toriyama probably didn't plan on introducing Nameks later on. He probably thought of the sons of Piccolo as the sons of Piccolo, and Piccolo Jr. as the reincarnation. Most of your paragraph is forged on theory and opinion.

Demi-Nameks is my own term for the four demonic spawn of King Piccolo - they're not Nameks, but they are children of one, which is why I chose to use that term. It is not official.

It isn't official, because it doesn't exist. Piccolo Jr. isn't precisely the reincarnation of Piccolo; he is the son, who just happens to reflect on his father's feelings and motives. Creatures that come from Namekian eggs should clearly be Nameks, as Dende and Nail in DBZ are both sons of Guru, and you don't see them looking like Tambourine, nor does anybody else on Planet Namek.

123. Lost and Found

With Piccolo's reign of terror at an end, Goku has time to mend his wounds. As he heals he learns that there may be a way to revive his lost friends - a face to face meeting with the creator of the Dragonballs! The only problem is that the only way to get to the mysterious Kami is by using his Power Pole, and it's gone missing!

Kami tells Goku of how he split his good self from his bad in order to take the throne of Kami-sama, but because of it, Piccolo was created. Kami tells Goku that he can't bring the dead back to life... but Shenron can. He will be able to bring Shenron back to life to restore everyone.

136. Tien Shinhan vs Mercenary Tao

The match between Tien Shinhan and Mercenary Tao begins. Shen (the Crane hermit) is in the audience cheering for his brother Tao. Tien seems to be a lot stronger than Tao and tries to escort him out of the ring until Tao takes off one of his cybernetic hands revealing a knife. The announcer tells Tao that he is disqualified for using a weapon but Tao dosen`t lisen because he wants to kill Tien for deciding to join the Turtle Hermit`s students. Tien breaks the knife. Tao takes off his other hand revealing a cannon for his super Dodon ray. Tao shoots the super Dodon ray at Tien. Tien survives the ray easily by being able to destroy it. Tien punches Tao in the stomach. Tien gives Tao to Shen. Shen and Tao leave the tournament saying that the Turtle Hermit and his students won`t die in peace. And Goku and Anomounous`s match is about to begin.

137. Anonymous Proposal

Goku battles the unknown girl, who seems to be getting more and more angry at him. Eventually, she tells him why she's angry at him: Goku told her he'd marry her! After a funny scene in which Goku finally learns what getting married means, he tells her he doesn't even recall saying this to her. She then tells him that she'll tell him who she is, but only if he defeats her. With that said, Goku easilly knocks her out of the ring. Defeated, the girl reveals that she's Chi Chi(which Oolong already figured out). Goku then realizes that he did promise to marry her, but he admits that he always thought that "married" was some sort of food. Chi Chi is sad, but then is overjoyed when Goku proposes to her right in the ring. She then kisses him(which makes Krillin angry). Soon, the next battle begins: Ma Junior(Piccolo) vs. Krillin. The two seem to be even, but Piccolo decides to show Krillin some of his true strength...

1. The Arrival of Raditz

Born long ago of a primeval force on a faraway planet, the Saiyans developed into a warrior race so devastating and relentless that their own planet did not survive their centuries of destruction. Now, one of them is coming to Earth to find his younger brother, Goku! The mighty Saiyan warrior Raditz arrives on Earth searching for his brother Goku, who was sent to Earth as a baby with a mission to destroy all traces of human life on Earth. However, Goku received a blow to his head upon his earthly arrival, causing him to forget his mission of destruction. Goku has instead become Earth's most powerful defender. NOTE: The Saiyan Saga begins this episode. In the Japanese version, Gohan means rice. Raditz tells Goku that planet Vegeta was destroyed by a meteor. Later in the Bardock movie, it is discovered why the remaining Saiyans believed that. It was Frieza who created the lie and destroyed the planet himself. When the Saiyan saga was first produced by Pioneer, it was known as the Vegeta saga. In Spring 2003, FUNimation decided to re-dub the first and second season of DBZ, due to when Pioneer dubbed it, they fused a lot of episodes into one, deleting a lot of scenes.

2. The World's Strongest Team

Goku is baffled about what to do until his arch enemy, Piccolo, appears. Piccolo joins forces with Goku to battle against the Saiyan's threat to Earth. Both use every technique they possess against Raditz, but discover there is no power on Earth capable of stopping Raditz.

Raditz is weakened by Gohan's burst of power, allowing Goku to grab Raditz in a bear hug. Piccolo summons an extra powerful blast nicknamed the Special Beam Cannon to finish off Raditz, but his attack also ends Goku's life. Before Raditz dies, he tells Piccolo that two other Saiyans who have even greater power are heading for Earth and will arrive within the year! While Piccolo trains Gohan, Goku travels through Other World to visit Martial Arts Master, King Kai, to get superior training from him in preparation for the upcoming battle against the Saiyans!

5. Gohan's Metamorphasis

(Though they don't seem particularly bothered about the other characters who weren't in the first 13 episodes, not even adding much introduction to them, so quite why they had to cut out most every trace of Lunch, I'm not sure though). However this only left a few minutes of footage, so it was merged with the following episode. This technique was used fairly frequently throughout the first two seasons. In Japan, the Home For Infinite Losers is simply called HELL. Naturally, this was edited.

Mr. Popo sends their spirits to the virtual reality of the Pendulum Room, where the warriors experience the overwhelming power of the average Saiyan. Then they learn the terrible reality that the two Saiyans who approaching Earth are twice as strong!

12. The End of Snakeway

Gohan's training under Piccolo continues. One night, Gohan suddenly transforms into a giant ape and attacks Piccolo! Meanwhile, Goku finally reaches the end of Snakeway and arrives to King Kai's small planet, which has ten times stronger gravity than Earth's.

13. A Fight Against Gravity...Catch Bubbles!

After Goku passes King Kai's test to make him laugh, the training begins! Goku's first task is to catch King Kai's pet monkey, Bubbles. King Kai explains the Saiyan home world, the planet Vegeta, had the same gravity as his planet and that the two Saiyans on their way to Earth are even stronger than King Kai himself.

14. The Legend of the Saiyans

Goku's next task is to hit Gregory, a super fast grasshopper, with a heavy hammer. Amazed at how quickly Goku can conquer the gravity, King Kai decides to teach him the techniques "Kaio-Ken" and "Spirit Bomb". King Kai also reveals information about Goku's Saiyan heritage. Goku learns the planet Vegeta had vanished and he was among only four Saiyan survivors.

NOTE: The Kai-oh-ken is a power up technique where Goku can exponentially double or triple his power at the expense of his health. The Spirit Bomb (Genki-dama) is Goku's most powerful attack, but it has a few drawbacks. The most obvious one is it takes time to charge up, drawing on the ki of all living things. Second, only those with pure and good hearts can use it. Goku cannot create a "Genki-dama" when he's a Super Saiyan, but he can use it if it is already created. (See Movie #7 for all the gory details)

15. A Black Day for Earth

Goku's training under King Kai is complete and he's ready for battle. Meanwhile, the two Saiyans, Vegeta and Nappa, arrive on Earth as Piccolo and Gohan proceed toward them. Their purpose is to find the Dragon Balls and get their wish of immortality.

NOTE: Goku uses King Kai's telepathy to contact Master Roshi... who is on the toilet at the time. The gang hears him talking to himself in the bathroom and figure him for a weirdo. The blast Nappa used to level the city he and Vegeta landed in was felt hundreds of miles away by the Z Fighters. In this episode, Vegeta has black hair. In the episodes leading up to the Saiyans' arrival, he has reddish/brown hair. Although people say his hair changed, official art shows that Vegeta still has a reddish shine to his hair.

16. The Battle Begins...Goku Where Are You?

Vegeta and Nappa reach Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin. Vegeta recognizes Piccolo as the one who told Raditz about the Dragon Balls and reveals Piccolo is an alien from the planet Namek. Just as Tien, Chiaotzu and Yamcha arrive to fight, the Saiyans grow plant monsters called Saibamen to fight them.

17. The Saibamen Strike

Earth's Special Forces show off their newly developed power in the battle against the six Saibamen.(Green colored, mindless creatures grown from seeds that obey Nappa's and Vegeta's every whim) Yamcha beats the shit out of one but carelessly turns his back on it because of his head strongness. He doesn't notice it get up and gets grabbed from behind! It squeezes the life out of Yamcha and he can't break free. The Z fighters wait for him to break the hold when the Saibaman unexpectedly self-destructs! Along with him taking Yamcha! The remaining Z fighters are now left to take on the Saibamen without him!

NOTE: The battle with the Saibamen was televised for a short while, giving those at the Kame House a chance to watch the Z Fighters in action, and Yamcha's death. Needless to say, Bulma doesn't take it well.... Tien easily beat a single Saibaman, but when Yamcha battled one, it clung onto him and self-destructed. Krillen then used one of his special attacks, because of his anger, that is never named in the dub, but is named Kakusandan in japanese. This attack destroyed the remaining Saibamen.

18. Nappa... The Invincible?

Nappa's power builds up and he sets his sights on Tien. A sneak attack by Chiaotzu seems to give the Earth's Special Forces the upper hand but at what cost? Unscathed, Nappa emerges from the blast. Chaiaotzu has given his life in vain and failed to help Tien. Piccolo plans a new attack, but will it work?

19. Tien Goes All Out!!

Tien uses all his powers to help Piccolo and Krillin fight the relentless Nappa, but Nappa continues to seem unstoppable. Just when it looks like Nappa will finish off Piccolo and Krillin, Vegeta calls a break to see if Kakarot (Goku) will arrive as Earth's Special Forces very survival depends solely on it.

Krillin is defeated and Nappa fires a massive power blast to finish off Gohan. Before it's too late, Piccolo jumps in the way and sacrifices himself to save Gohan. Luckily, however, Goku finally arrives!

Nappa pleads to Vegeta for help, but the ruthless Saiyan kills him instead. Now, the stage is set for the showdown between Goku and Vegeta!

Goku's now up against the powerful Saiyan prince, Vegeta. When Goku's double Kaio-Ken attack fails, Goku breaks his promise to King Kai and uses the triple Kaio-Ken. On the verge of defeat, Vegeta decides to blow up Earth!

Realizing Goku is much stronger than expected, Vegeta transforms into a giant ape, putting Goku in a tight spot. On their way to Master Roshi's, Gohan and Krillin sense Goku's crisis and rush back to his aide. Meanwhile, Goku decides he has to use his new technique, the Spirit Bomb, to stop Vegeta. But does he have enough time to do it?

NOTE: Unlike Gohan and Goku, Vegeta is able to control himself when Oozaru (Ape Transformation), and even talk, it is assumed that only Elite Sayians can do this, since Bardock's team didn't seem to remember much of their Oozaru transformation in the Bardock Special. Goku might of had a chance if he knew either cutting off the tail or destroying the moon ball would change him back. Most of his friends know this but never told him because it would mean telling him that he killed his grandfather. The scenes of an Oozaru destroying things were of Goku destroying Pilaf's castle and the World Martial arts stadium

As Vegeta almost crushes Goku, Yajirobe manages to cut off his tail causing Vegeta to return to normal. Furious, Vegeta attacks the other three warriors. Goku tells Gohan to fight against Vegeta to give Goku time to give the Spirit Bomb to Krillin.

27. A New Goal... Namek

But the Dragon Balls don't exist anymore since Piccolo and Kami are dead. Krillin remembers that the Saiyans had said that Dragon Balls could be found on the planet Namek. Mr. Popo and Bulma go to find out if Kami's original spaceship will be able to take them there.

Vegeta intercepts Dodoria, who hopes Vegeta will spare him if he reveals it was Frieza who destroyed the Saiyan homeworld. Vegeta decides to destroy Dodoria anyway and then begins searching for Gohan and Krillin. Unable to find them, Vegeta decides to start searching for the Dragon Balls. Meanwhile, Gohan and Krillin find Bulma, who has great news: Goku will arrive on Namek within the week!

Krillin sets out to find the last Dragon Ball, while Vegeta decides to amuse himself by facing Zarbon.

53. Goku... Super Saiyan?

Goku begins to fight with Recoome after he gives Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta Ginsu Beans. Recoome powers up for a "Recoome Kaboom," after the scouter reads that Goku's power level is only 5,000. He thinks he can beat Goku easily. But, Goku is conceiling his power, and only Vegeta, Gohan, and Krillin know it. Recoome starts to attack, but then stops dead because Goku elbowed him in the stomach, taking Recoome down. jeice and burter are surprised, but not worried...Vegeta begins to wonder if Goku is a legendary Super Sayan. The last Super Sayan (who lived hundreds of years ago) could only maintain his power in the transformed state, and he could not control it. Goku, however, was in complete control, and had lost his tail permanantly as a boy, so he could not transform. Jeice and Burter start to attack. Goku just stands there. Or is he moving? Vegeta sees foot prints in different spots, so he must be moving. But, how could even a sayans eyes not even sense the movement? Goku begins to fight back, and makes a fool of Burter and Jeice. He defeats Burter, and tells Jeice that he can leave, unscathed, as long as he leaves the planet. Jeice flies away, but he does not leave Nameck.

But Vegeta arrives before the last final is cast and he is not happy.

Once fused with Nail, Piccolo races to the battlefield to help his friends against Frieza.

Piccolo tells the others to stay back and he will handle Frieza alone. To everyone's surprise, including Frieza's, Piccolo manages to hold his own due to his union with Nail. With his last bit of strength he tells Goku about how Frieza made him do all of the bad things he did. Goku burys Vegeta then prepares to fight Frieza.

Garlic Jr. has managed to escape the Dead Zone and is eager for revenge. Up at the Lookout, however, Garlic Jr. and his Spice Boys have trapped Kami and Mr. Popo in small glass bottles. And when the Spice Boys arrive, they learn they only have twenty four hours to reverse the effects of the mist with the Sacred Water or they will remain that way forever.

Meanwhile, Gohan and Krillin fight the remaining Spice Boys, while Piccolo takes on Garlic Jr., who uses the Makyo Star to increase his power ten fold.

History of Trunks

Summary

Fourteen years after the events of the Frieza saga, the Earth is in ruins, terrorized by a pair of Artificial Humans. Goku is long dead of a heart disease and shortly after, Piccolo, Vegeta, Krillin, and the other Z fighters were killed when the Artificial Humans first arrived. Now the only surviving Z fighter is Gohan, who trains Vegeta's now 13 year-old son, Trunks. Gohan seems to be strong enough now to take on one Android, but against both, he still has trouble, and when Trunks always gets in the way, it doesn't get any easier. Finally, Gohan sustains serious injury, and not long after he's healed, he takes on both Androids again. Gohan is killed in battle, finally giving Trunks the necessary fuel to reach Super Saiyan. This is the story of the future.....that never was.

Detailed Synopsis It starts off with everyone (Krillin, Vegeta, Bulma, Piccolo, etc.) gathered around Goku's house shocked because they have just discovered that Goku's heart disease has killed him. Even Vegeta is shocked. Then it shows clips of a massive battle between the Z fighters, short of Goku, fighting and being killed by two androids. Android 17 and Android 18 easily kill everyone, including a Super Saiyan Vegeta. The only survivor of the battle is Gohan, who barely escapes.

Then about 10 to 13 years later, you see a young teenage Trunks stuck in traffic with his mom, Bulma, on their way into a city. They notice smoke coming from the city as it is 17 and 18 who attack it, killing all who get in their way. Then, Trunks spots an grown Gohan flying on his way to fight the androids. Trunks can't stand waiting so he follows Gohan at his mother's dismay. Gohan goes Super Saiyan and is doing pretty good against 18, who he has fought before, but once 17 joins the fight he has no chance. Trunks comes out of hiding and tries to fight but makes a fool of himself, getting beat up badly in the process. Gohan gets beat up trying to protect the injured Trunks and loses his arm in the fight. But not before he does a famous "Ma Sen Kou" blast that blinds them. Gohan then gives Trunks his last Sensu Bean after 17 and 18 give up their search and fly away. Once Trunks is revived from the Sensu Bean, he carries Gohan to Capsule Corp to heal.

Bulma is able to fix up Gohan but he still loses his arm. Trunks then asks Gohan if he will train him so he can fight the androids and Gohan agrees. Gohan then trains Trunks for many months similar to how Piccolo trained him. Gohan is tough but fair and Trunks becomes much stronger. Finally, Gohan tells Trunks that he is ready to fight the androids but right before they fly off Gohan hits Trunks on the neck, knocking him out, and goes to fight the androids alone.

Gohan finds the androids creating terror in a city and attacks them head on. He again is beating the stuffing out of one but has trouble taking on both. Android 17 puts the hurt on Gohan and decides leaving Gohan alive is too much of a risk, since he has increased his strength by so much. They finish him off and fly away.

Trunks finally comes to and realizes Gohan left him there wanting to fight alone. Trunks is furious and goes to find Gohan. When Trunks finds his mangled body he cannot take it and goes Super Saiyan for the first time.

It then skips to a few years in the future as Trunks is preparing to leave in his time machine to find Goku and tell him about the future. The word "HOPE!!!" is written on the outside of the time machine and he tells Bulma that he will warn Goku of the events to come and prevent the same future from occuring. Also, secretly hoping he will be able to destroy the androids of his time. He flies off to start the Trunks Saga which follows through to the Cell Saga (US Episodes 103-179).

Uncut: Trunks hears about the first attack on radio then flies off by himself. Then after he arrives Gohan appears. Edited version:? The same thing? Especially during the Trunks Saga, is there not a scene where Gohan jumps up one handed over the androids and yells "Ma Sen Ko" and shoots a large blinding light? Yet, it is not shown in the uncut version of The History of Trunks where it would be relevant to show that footage. Very choppy movie if you ask me. 6/20/03 (Remembrance of goof that you conceived in early of 2003) Plus, the dates of when the island nine miles west of south city was suppposed to be destroyed in both the future and past, Trunks is shown as at least 10 or 12 (to the human eye) and in the future on that date he is still a baby being nursed by Bulma. 102. Krillin's Proposal

While on a shopping trip with Maron, Krillin is surprised to see her pick out what appears to be a wedding dress. Back at the Kame House, Krillin struggles to propose to Maron, asking the advice of Gohan,(Heh, what does he know about love? He's not even 12! After all, the only girl he's ever known in his life is his mom, Chi-chi! Bulma doesn't count because she compensates for more of a abusive man than lady, if you know what I mean!)If whether or not Maron is the right girl for him? He decides to make his move before he loses one of the luckiest things to ever come into his life. But not before he can find her the perfect proposal item. So the Turtle over hears this and gives Krillin a little insight into the legend of Giant Pearl. Krillin finds out it's located in the thanks to the turtle. He and gohan swim off in search of the overgrown pearl and sure enough find it. But it's guarded by practicly the entire ocean! Fish and sea creatures of all sort rush to defend the sacred pearl from the theiving hands of man. Does Maron want to get married and, if so, will Krillin gather the courage to pop the question?

103. Frieza's Counterattack

Chi Chi hires a tutor for Gohan, who literally cracks the whip. Meanwhile, Vegeta arrives at Capsule Corp, returning from space without having found Goku. But there is no time for that when every Z Fighter senses a powerful force and their greatest fear is realized: Frieza survived and is coming to Earth for revenge. And with Goku still somewhere in space, the Z Fighters are on their own and don't stand a chance.

104. The Mysterious Youth

Frieza is eager to get his revenge and once his ship lands, he orders his soldiers to begin the attack. But a mysterious warrior arrives and slices through soldiers, intent on defending the Earth.

105. Another Super Saiyan?

The "Mysterious youth" confronts Frieza, King Cold and their soldiers. The soldiers attack the stranger but get sliced up by his sword. More soldiers charge at the boy but they are easily handled. Frieza and King Cold laugh thinking the stranger will be no trouble at all. The stranger announces that he knows Goku and is a Super-Saiyan. He transforms into a Super-Saiyan and the Z-Fighters wonder if its Goku they are scensing. Frieza tries 3 times to defeat the stranger all failing. He fires a ball at the stranger 10 times the size of the one that destroyed Namek. He just catches it shatters it. "Is this yours" he said to Frieza. The stranger then takes out his sword. He slices Frieza in half.

106. Welcome Back Goku

Having finished with Frieza, the mysterious stranger sets his sights on King Cold. To the Z Fighters' amazement, he defeats King Cold with ease. Even more surprising, he announces to the Z Fighters that Goku will arrive in two hours. Though suspicious, the Z Fighters follow him to where he says Goku will land and wait. Once the two hours pass, a space pod lands and Goku emerges, surprised to see his friends there to greet him.

107. Mystery Revealed

Goku is asked by the mysterious stranger to speak in private and then has his Super Saiyan strength tested. Once the stranger is satisfied, he reveals his name is Trunks and he came from a grim future, explaining Goku will die from a heart disease and all the Z Fighters, except Gohan, will be killed in three years by androids created by Dr. Gero. After giving Goku the disease antidote, Trunks returns to his own time, leaving Goku to explain to the Z Fighters what lies ahead.

108. Goku's Special Technique

Goku explains to the others how he survived Namek's destruction, saying he managed to get to a Ginyu Force space pod and crashed on another planet. There, the inhabitants nursed Goku back to health and taught him a new technique: the Instant Transmission. As for Trunks warning about the future, Piccolo (having heard everything because of his good ears) says everyone must decide whether they're going to fight or not now. They all agree to fight and begin training.

Yajirobe has also come to give Goku some Sensu Beans, but is then suddenly shot down by the two Androids. The Z Fighters search the island's city for the Androids and Yamcha is the first unlucky one to find them.

After Goku, Piccolo and Tien lure the Androids away from the city, Goku reveals Dr. Gero and the Androids did not know everything about him as he transforms into a Super Saiyan.

As Yamcha races Goku home for the heart virus antidote, Super Saiyan Vegeta takes on Android 19. Vegeta easily gains the upper hand, even Android 19's energy absorption device does not appear to slow him down. After Vegeta blows Android 19 to pieces, Android 20 runs off toward the mountains. While Vegeta and the remaining Z Fighters search for him, Android 20 realizes he will need more energy to defeat Vegeta and he'll steal the Z Fighters' to do it.

During the search, Android 20 attacks Piccolo and begins draining his energy. Gohan manages to save him before it's too late and, as the other Z Fighters gather around, Piccolo says he will fight the android alone. As the battles ensues, Android 20 is baffled to find Piccolo is much stronger than he anticipated. Meanwhile, Trunks has returned from the future and finds his last visit somehow changed the course of events... as he has never seen these androids before.

117. Follow Dr. Gero

Android 20 creates a diversion to escape by shooting down Bulma's plane, but Trunks manages to rescue her and Baby Trunks. Bulma then reveals she has seen Android 20 before: it's Dr. Gero himself! Trunks then explains about the androids he has fought in the future, which are far more powerful. The Z Fighters set out to find Dr. Gero's laboratory to destroy the androids, but only Dr. Gero where the laboratory is and he is intent on waking the androids.

118. Nightmare Comes True

As they search the mountains for Dr. Gero's laboratory, Trunks tries to warn a stubborn Vegeta that the Androids are more powerful than he realizes. Meanwhile, the remaining Z Fighters arrive at North City and decide to split up in their search. Krillin is attacked by Dr. Gero, but manages to follow him to his laboratory and signals the others. While the Z Fighters try to break in, Dr. Gero activates Androids 17 and 18, who are not inclined to be under his control.

119. Goku's Assassin

To the surprise of the Z Fighters, Android 17 finishes off Dr. Gero once and for all and Android 18 prepares to activate another android. Even Trunks, destroying the entire lab, does not stop her from releasing Android 16. 17 and 18 learn Gero's mission is to destroy Goku and decide to do just that, flying away from the Z Fighters without bothering to fight. Angered over being ignored, Vegeta chases after the three Androids and doesn't let anyone stop him, including Trunks. While the others follow, Vegeta catches up with the Androids and challenges them to battle. 18 accepts the challenge and the battle is about to begin.

120. Deadly Beauty

The battle between Vegeta and Android 18 begins. As it ensues, Android 17 admits Vegeta is stronger than expected, but he is confident 18 will win. The fight continues and it looks like Vegeta might win, but Piccolo figures out Vegeta's getting weaker while 18 remains strong. Vegeta realizes 18 was toying with him and gets clobbered. Trunks then transforms to Super Saiyan and leaps into battle to defend his father.

137. Say Goodbye, 17

Android 16 beats Cell continously not letting up for a second! He drives Cell into the ground so hard he causes a crater!! But unconvinced of Cell's demise quickly tucks his hands under his arms removing them and exposing his blasters! As a finishing move to destroy Cell he unleashes a barrage of beams into the crater!! This attack was so powerful it caused energy to shoot out of the ground erupting in a show of unbelieveable amounts! When Android 16 finally powers down the area is literally covered with holes! Android 16 urges 17 and 18 to escape while they still can sensing Cell is still alive!!! But their cocky attitudes cause them to believe that the attack was more than powerful enough to kill Cell. 17 keeps repeating how no one could have survived that while standing with his back to a hole! Suddenly Cell slowly rises out of the hole behind him while the arrogant 17 laughs meticously. 17 all of a sudden turns around immediately to see Cell's tail funnel open right over his head. The stupid and unsuspecting android was now caught in Cell's grasp and was soon to be absorbed. Then the most horrifying scene is shown of 17 getting sucked into Cell's tail and is forcibly pushed through it and into his back. Just then in an temendous dimension shattering light, Cell starts to transform into a ugly, yet very powerful form. He looks at a reflection of himself in a puddle of water satisfied and pleased. He then turns towards 16 and 18 hungry for more. 16 grabs 18 and flies away in an drastic attempt to escape but the newly transformed Cell merely teleports in front of him. The shocked 16 is paralyzed with fright and on a whim Cell punches him in the head with so much force it breaks one whole side of his face exposing his parts. Android 16 flies a great distance and lies motionless on the ground, circuits crackling and all. Now that Android 16 is out of commission and Andriod 18 is left defenseless, will Cell absorb her?

138. Sacrifice

With Cell in his second stage, he seems to be invincible to 16's every attempt to stop Cell from absorbing 18 and becoming complete. Luckily, Tien steps in and stall for enough time for the androids to escape with his Tri-Beam attack. But every time he uses that attack, it drains his life force. Fortunately Goku rescues him and Piccolo, who suddenly hangs on by a mere thread of his life. They retreat to the lookout and none other than Vegeta & Trunks finally emerge from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Will their new powers finally put an end to Cell and the adroids once and for all? 151. What Is the Tournament?

Cell calls a World Martial Arts Tournament, "I am Cell! I have a message for all the people of earth! I've decided to hold a martial arts tournament. I'm calling the competition, 'The Cell Games.' Bring me your best fighters and I will face them one-by-one in a contest of strength. This is the last chance for planet Earth. If I am not defeated, it belongs to me!"

The future of the Earth is at stake, but fortunately the Z Fighters have been training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Even with the enhanced training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, do they stand a chance against Cell in his perfect form?

Cell dispenses with the first contestants with ease. Goku chooses to fight next. He knows how strong Cell is; one slip and the contest is over.

Goku and Cell both radiate with energy. For a while, the fight looks even. Then Cell unleashes a series of attacks including Krillin's Destructo Disk and Tien's move where Cell separates into four separate beings. King Kai quickly realizes, "No, that is not Krillin's move. That's the last technique Frieza used against Goku! And if Cell feels he cannot win, he may destroy planet Earth just as Frieza destroyed planet Namek!" Cell gathers all of his energy to launch a huge attack that would surely destroy earth.

Basically his hands and eyes are now robotic. Goku is challenged to solve a puzzle before sun up to retrieve all the Dragonballs but if he doesn't they belong to Tao and some gangster. After Cell blows up the ring, the fight heats up! Both fighters pulling out all tricks in their arsenal. Cell called Goku's bluff, knowing that he wouldn't run the risk of blowing up the planet. At the split second, Goku used Instant Transmission to appear right below Cell, and fire the Kamehameha Wave before Cell can even put up a guard. Now blowing up the top half of Cell's body, is the fight over?

166. Faith in a Boy

Goku just ended the fight between him and Cell. Cell asks why he did it, and he says that he cannot win, but there is someone who can. Everyone wants to know who it is. Goku tells Gohan to come and fight Cell. Gohan does not want to fight. He thinks that Goku is stronger than him, and strong enough to beat Cell. Goku reminds his son about Gohan's hidden power. Gohan agrees to fight, but is still worried. Everyone watching thinks that Goku is crazy. They did not think about Gohan's hidden power, even Piccolo, who worked on releasing it ever since the fight with Radditz. Gohan began to fight Cell, and lost badly.

167. Gohan's Desperate Plea

Gohan had started fighting Cell. He was losing badly. Cell made one really good hit and sent him flying into a pile of rocks. Everyone except for Goku thought he was dead. Piccolo was very angry at Goku. "We knew this would happen! We told you Gohan wasn't strong enough! Now he's dead, Goku, and it's your fault!" Piccolo had yelled. "Piccolo, he's fine, can't you sense his energy?" Goku replied. Then, in a burst of energy and light, Gohan appeared, barely scratched. he began to tell Cell about his hidden powers. He told Cell that if his powers were unleashed, he wouldn't be able to help himself. He would destroy Cell. He began to tell Cell about the times they were fighting Frieza, Radditz, Garlic Jr., and their other enemys. Gohan alone, still 5 years old, had weakened Radditz horribly and sent Garlic jr. into the Dead Zone. Only a few years later, he had close to killed Frieza in his 3rd stage. But, Cell was not worried. He now had a new goal. To unleash Gohan's power, and have a real fight with Gohan. He began to beat up Gohan een worse, but, Gohan was afraid of destroying Cell, and his real power would not show itself.

168. Android Explosion

Android 16 watched as Gohan was slowly being defeated. Cell suddenly put the "squeeze" on Gohan. Gohan struggled but could not get out. He was going to be destroyed. He didn't want to kill anyone, even Cell, so he wouldn't power up. Cell let go of Gohan. At that moment, Android 16 came up behind Cell and gave him a taste of his own medicine. Now it was Cell that was being squeezed. Anroid 16 said he was going to detonate the explosive that was inside him. It was strong enough to destroy Cell, and everything around him. He tried to detonate the bomb, but nothing happened. Krillin said that Bulma and Dr. Briefs had taken it out, and told the story of it. When he was done, Cell destroyed 16. Gohan was angry, but his power was still not showing itself. Then, before he began to fight, Cell counted the Z Warriors and made that many mini duplicates of himself, that were just as strong. Gohan and Cell began to fight.

169. Children of Cell Attack

The Cell duplicates started to attack the Z fighters. Gohan sat and watched, horrified, angry, and wishing he could help. Then, Android 16's head rolled over to him. It said that if someone was as evil as Cell, it's ok to destroy him. Cell then stepped on 16's head, and he was compleltely dead. Gohan was angered greatly, and starrted to power up.

170. The Unleashing

Just after Android 16 tells him to follow his instincts and not to supress his feelings anymore Cell crushes the Android. This is the straw that broke the camels back, so to speak. This pushes Gohan to the limit and finally Gohan shows his true self..... And with it the unleashing begins! This is where you really find out why Goku in previous episodes acted so calm because he was the only person to know the true ability of his son. Cell tells him to let go so he can see Gohans true power and in the process underestimating how powerful he can become! Cell is holding a bag of senzu beans which Gohan snatches in the blink of an eye which leaves Cell guessing on how he did it. Gohan then goes on to defeat all of the Cell Juniors single handedly!

172. Cell's Mighty Break Down

SSJ2 Gohan walks towards a shocked Cell, who tries to kick Gohan. He doesn't succeed, and Gohan tosses him away by the leg. Cell gets angry and powers up, making two familiar yellow energy Discs. Krillin is shocked to see Cell using his Kienzan. Meanwhile, Cell throws both of them at Gohan, who blocks them with his fists alone. With a surge of power, he obliterates the discs. Cell gets a little nervous now, and flies into the air. He places his index and middle finger onto his forehead, and some familiar lightning starts to surge through them. Cell fires the Makankosappo technique, which Gohan merely punches away into the sky. Gohan walks up to Cell and merely taunts him about being scared of his new form, after Cell had wanted to make it come about in the first place. Cell is really afraid now, and flies off into the air again. The gang think he is trying to retreat, but they soon see Cell cup his hands as he summons energy for the infamous technique. However, this is more powerful than usual; a Chou (Ultra) Kamehameha. Goku tries to coax Cell to stop, in case he atomises the Earth, while Krillin tries to get Gohan to leave the range of fire. Both the fighters don't listen as Cell fires and Gohan stands firm in place. The Turtle Blast Wave heads towards Gohan and at the last second, Gohan utters the words himself, and also fires a Chou Kamehameha. The two Waves collide, and ever so slowly, Gohan's wave starts gain a bit more energy as it forces Cell's back towards him. Cell is trying hard to force more energy into his own Wave, then tries to deflect Gohan's. However, Cell is overpowered and the Wave disintegrates him. Everyone else, except Gohan, is buried under sand. The Z Senshi dig themselves out, as they look up to see Cell, looking none too good, as he is missing a left arm, both legs, his top part of his head and his wings. The Z Senshi congratulate Gohan on his work so far, but urge him to finish Cell off. Gohan heeds his friends' words, but he doesn't follow the advice. He merely tells them he wants Cell to suffer like he has made others do. Goku yells at his son, that everyone knows he has enough power to kill Cell, but it was time to actually use it. Gohan doesn't take notice and smirks at his handiwork on Cell. However, when everyone tries to remind him that Cell can regenerate, Cell does just that, and shows extreme anger at Gohan. He tries to transform to SSJ2 to himself, out of blind rage, but only makes it to USSJ, as he hasn't got Gohan's cells in him. Cell tries to attack Gohan, but as Trunks points out, Cell's muscles are too big and bulky for Cell to attack effectively. Gohan kicks Cell in his cheek, and Cell quivers in pain. As he does so, Gohan kicks Cell in the large stomach. Cell keels over in pain, and suddenly starts looking ill. Spit starts to spurt out of his mouth, as he tries to hold it back. Cell, however, can't keep down a lump in his throat, and he regurgitates something. As some of Cell's saliva oozes away, the Z Senshi see it is Android 18. Cell is yelling in pain, and his muscles start to swell and swill, at different moments. It is revealed that Gohan was making Cell revert to his second form, making him Imperfect Cell again.

173. A Hero's Farewell

After cell spits up android 18, he decides all he can is self destruct. He starts to swell up. If gohan blasts him he will explode anyway. What can he do. Then goku steps up to cell says farwell to his son and teleports to King Kais planet.

174. Cell Returns!

After Goku transports Cell to King Kai's Planet, Cell blows up. Goku, King Kai, Gregory, and Bubbles all die but Cell doesn't. Cell regenerates from one cell and stole Goku's Instant Transmission technique and teleports back to earth. He arrives in a cloud of dust so no one can see him and he shoots a beam straight at Trubks and kills him. Vegeta gets real mad and charges at Cell. They fight but Cell hurts Vegeta real bad and He falls to the ground. Cell challenges Gohan but Gohan thought he couldn't beat him. But, Goku comes in his mind and tells him he can. Cell and Gohan get their Ka mae Has ready and shoot at each other. The beams go back and forth. Cell was starting to beat Gohan but the Z fighters came and starting blowing blasts at Cell but they couldn't stop him and it was up to Gohan. Finally, Veheta comes and blows a beam at Cell and distarcts him and Gohan sends Cell into space and kills him.

175. The Horror Won't End

After Cell's amazing, yet shocking return, he begins the fight with Gohan again. He is much stronger now, because of the Saiyan ability to gain power when recovered from a serious attack, and beats up Gohan. Vegeta steps in and barrages Cell with a blast of energy. Cell is not scracthed. He nails Vegeta, then prepares to kill him. Gohan steps in and takes the blast for him, paralyzing his left arm. Cell gets very angry and says he will finish off everyone. He begins a Kamehameha attack. Gohan, only able to use his right arm, does nothing as he can not defend himself against Cell anymore. Goku telepathically talks to Gohan, and talks him into using a Kamehameha attack with only his right arm. Gohan agrees, then begins to use all of his energy in a huge attack. As both fighters prepare to launch their attacks, the episode ends

176. Saving the World

Gohan and Cell are about to start the final battle of the cell games. Gohan can only use one hand, but that's all he needs. The two fighters unleash huge Kamehamehas and start the showdown. Goku helps his son, even though he is dead. He communicates to Gohan with King Kai's help. He knows that Gohan is holding back some of his power. "If you're still worried about the Earth, whatever damage you do to it can be repaired by the dragonballs!" Goku tells his son. Gohan unleashes more power. Cell, who is in his best health and stronger than ever (since he regenerated his whole body, which gave him more power), starts to gain the upper hand. Piccolo, who is nearby, wants to help Gohan. He separates from Yamcha, Tien, and Krillen and attacks Cell, but, it has no effect. Cell attacks Piccolo, and he is knocked over and hurt badly. The others join Piccolo. Even with all of their attacks combined, Piccolo, Krillen, Yamcha, and Tien cannot help out Gohan, and have been defeated. Gohan, who is worried about his friends, starts to slip even more. Goku tells him that they will be fine and to concentrate. Gohan evens out the match. But, he is still not strong enough in his weakened state. But then, a powerful blast hit's Cell. But who attacked? Everyone looks up, including Cell, and they see Vegeta. Cell, distracted and injured, loses his control. Gohan takes this opportunity to unleash everything he can. Cell is destroyed, right down to the last cell. Everyone celebrates. Now, to Kame's tower, so they can make their wishes.

177. Goku's Noble Decision

Gohan has just defeated Cell, and he, Yamcha, Piccolo, Krillin, Android 18, Trunks, and Tien return to Kame's Tower. Dende is there with all of the dragonballs, and the group is ready to make thier wishes (because Dende recreated the Dragonballs and the Eternal dragon, it could now grant two wishes instead of one). They first wish for all of Cell's victims to be revived. But, Goku did not come back. It would take a whole wish to revive him. But, they heard him from snake way. He said he wanted to stay at snake way. He told every one that every time they were fighting somebody, like Cell or Frieza, they were always after Goku. He knew that the earth was much safer without him there, and that they could handle anything because of Gohan's new strength. They said goodbye to Goku, and remembered what they like the most about him, and then tried to decide what to do with their last wish.

179. Free the Future

Trunks, who returned to the future, sets off to find androids 17 and 18. He finds them while they are harassing an old man. He first rescues the old man, then takes on the androids. With his new strength, he defeats the androids easily. First he destroys 18, then, after about a minute, he destroys 17. Then, he goes to find Cell. Since cell hadn't gotten hold of the androids yet, he was still imperfect and very weak, but still his boasting self. Cell, just like the androids, thought that Trunks was still a weakling, and was ready for a very easy fight. But, since Trunks was now much stronger, he destroyed Cell, so he couldn't harm anyone anymore.

Goku and the crew have to go up against the evil Garlic Jr., who is gathering up the seven Dragon Balls to wish for immortality and punish the world for his father's death. Unfortunately, Krillin, Piccolo, and Goku can't handle Garlic Jr. by themselves, but, Gohan seems to be tapping into his true potential; starting to realize his hidden powers, which the Z fighters will need every bit of!

The World's Strongest

The timeline is during the Saiyan Saga. Oolong, soon after discovering the Dragon Balls have all gathered in one place, lures Gohan with him to the Zulmyzubril mountains to verify their discovery and hopefully wish for another pair of panties! Obviously, the first one Shenlong gave Oolong wasn't enough. Coincidentally, a fanatical scientist named Dr. Kochin is present as well. He has collected all the Dragon Balls to revive his colleague, Dr. Wheelo, who was buried under frozen ice 50 years before. The Dragon obediently grants the wish, and a colossal, black fortress rises through the shattered ice to the surface from its once underneath watery grave. Revived, Dr. Wheelo, who inhabits a large brain jar with a robotic body, now seeks a body to inhabit. He wants to co-exist with the world's strongest man, and eventually take over the world! Our heroes will have to once again foil another manicial plan!

The Tree of Might

A group of evil warriors dressed in Frieza henchmen suits arrive on Earth to plant the Tree of Might. When they do, King Kai senses something is wrong with the planet and telepathically tells Goku. When the Z warriors get word of the the news, Goku, Krillin, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha head off to destroy the Tree of Might and the villians who planted it there. They immediately all power up at the same time and shoot their combined beams at the Tree of Might in hopes it will be destroyed. After the dust clears, the Tree emerges without a scratch! Then the fight starts. Tien and Chiaotzu fight the twins. They get blasted and that's when Gohan appears. Next Krillin fights someone twice his size. He uses his Destructo Disk but misses. Then Yamcha fights the robot, who is fairly quick. Resulting in Yamcha getting blasted into the ground. Goku flies by and blasts him. Then Goku forced to fight the robot is joined by another fighter. Goku continues to fend of their attacks and powers up with a "Kaio-Ken" equivalent to two beams that are shot at both the robot and the warrior sending them to their deaths.

The leader of the ruthless warriors, Turles, stands idly by as he watches. He notices that Gohan has his tail and attempts to pick him up. Gohan mistakens Turles for Goku. Turles grabs Gohan but not before Piccolo appears. Piccolo gets pummeled and Gohan is tossed away. Then Turles creates a fake moon through an bright energy ball and Gohan transforms into the dreaded, mindless Saiyan ape. Gohan attacks Goku unwillingly and Icarus comes by and makes Gohan nice. Turles blasts Icarus just as Gohan holds him in his hands and causes Gohan once again to lose all control. Goku cuts off Gohan's tail just as he is about to be destroyed by Turles's power ring. The blast hits the wall barely missing Gohan. As he falls down he changes back to normal and is caught by his father before he falls into the spring. All of the evil warriors gather round and fight Goku. Goku calls upon "Kaio-Ken" and literally knocks breath out of everyone. With everyone defeated, Goku can now focus on Turles, the strongest of the group. Goku wins at first but then Turles eats one of the energy-enriched fruits and powers up. Goku gets beaten badly. Goku then powers up the spirit bomb and gathers energy from the other Z fighters and remaining wildlife. He goes up to Turles and they fire at each other. Turles gets blasted into the Tree and he and the Tree of Might are destroyed. Earth is saved once again and somehow managed to avoid complete destruction.

Feature Movie

Super Android 13!

Its just another ordinary day for the Z fighters: Trunks, Krillin, Master Roshi, and Oolong all go to a Beauty Pagent only to find out it was not the right day. While Goku, ChiChi, and Gohan, all go shopping and dine out. Finally the Z fighters meet for lunch and just when they finish their meals trouble brews! Two androids attack the resteraunt and start destroying the city! Goku realizes what they are and leads them away into an ice covered mountain. Trunks follows and Krillin and Gohan leave in hot pursuit (But not before ChiChi kicks Krillin in the butt!) Anyway Goku begins the fight with the Androids. Meanwhile Dr. Gero's computer unleashes Android 13, the leader, and he immediately shows up and starts attacking Goku.(More of a red neck if you ask me. not very well thought out.) Vegeta soon arrives and they all go Super-Saiyan. Gohan fires an energy blast at 13 but he simply returns the favor! Luckily Piccolo shows up and blocks the blast for Gohan! Vegeta and Trunks demolish 14 and 15, finally seperating them into pieces. But Android 13 doesn't take this too lightly and intergrates their parts into him creating Super Android 13!(Mainly the detonators and memory drives, also could have absorbed fuel cells) Can our heroes stop this monster from finally realizing Dr. Gero's dream? Find out in the action-packed movie Super Android 13!

Grand Kai hosts a big tournament to celebrate North Kai's (King Kai) death. Goku races East Kai to earn a spot in the tourney. The First Round of the tournament is Goku vs. Caterpy. Caterpy has the match won (by tickiling Goku), but then makes a mistake by starting a 1200 year transformation! Grand Kai didn't want to wait so he DQed Caterpy.

The next round of the tournament is Goku vs Arqua. Arqua transforms the ring to a pool of churning water. Arqua again has Goku beat in the underwater environment, but Goku uses Solar Flare, followed by a Kamehameha to win the match. Everyone was stunned.

184. Goku vs. Pikkon

The show starts off with Goku, who before this episode just tranformed into a Super Saijyan, and Pikkon standing in the Other world tornament ring. Goku gets things started with his most famous attack the Kamehameha Wave which Pikkon dodges and starts a display of his speed. Then Pikkon traps goku in his Hyper tornado attack which takes Goku awile but he ends up escapeing with a power display of energy. Then he revamps an old technique when he does the Super Kaioken which he then follows with another Kamehameha Wave but don't underestimate Pikkon he is a very power fighter. Pikkon goes head on with another one of Goku's energy beams which Pikkon gets the better end of kicking Goku to the ground and almost out of the ring. Pikkon then says to Goku that he has "never fought someone as strong as Goku. Goku then replys "thats because you are strong. He finds that tougher opponents always brings out the best in him." Pikkon then does his Thunder Flash attack 3x and by the third time Goku figures out the weakness in his attack. Goku then makes his move with the Instant Transmission and Kamehameha which knocks pikkon out of the ring. Goku then wins the Otherworld Turnament, or does he? The Grand Kaio then tells Goku and Pikkon that they were both diqualified for touching the ceiling which means they were both out of the ring. The Grand Kiao then says he will give both fighters a fighting lesson in about 200 years. Then it comes that 4 years have past on the earth and Gohan is going to highschool.

185. Gohan Goes to High School

Before Gohan gets to school Gohan stops some local thugs thus turning into a super saiyan thinking no one will reconize him. When walking away after defeating the thugs he runs into Videl Hercules (Satan)'s daughter. He manages to getaway while an old man tells Videl what happened. When finnaly getting to school he finds out how fast things can go aroung the city for everyone in school is making a legend of him and calling him the golden fighter. Gohan has a hard time keeping his identity secret for Videl think (and of coarse is right about that it is him.). Then comes baseball in Gohan fist day and he kinda shows his power. opps. Well then he finally gets though the day. Somehow.....

Videl sees that Gohan has a cut in the same place as saiyaman, and puts 2 and 2 together to figure out that Gohan is Saiyaman. She says she will not tell if Gohan competes in the World Martial Arts Tournament. Her other condition was that he teach her to fly

195. The World Tournament

In this episode, the world tournaent finally begins. But since Vegeta broke punching machine, they had bring out another one. Then Goten and Trunx are in the excercise room where all junior contestants are. After they talked a little bit, this othere boy with blonde hair comes up to Trunx and tells him that he was bragging,"hey wimp, you're going to be my first victim, this is going to be one of the quickest matches". Then Trunx answers back,"you better watch your mouth" ad then everybody looks aat him. Then HERCULE comes and eerybody starts cheering because he saved the world, NOT. Then the announcer tells everyone that they finally did a reinactment about the fight, and Hercule gets woried because he thought it was the actual fight, but it wasn't. It was just a few guys in costume and they did the tory WAY wrong.But before the junior tournament, Gohan gets a little worried about missing the tournament because he didn't get to try the punch measurer yet, but Videl tells him that they could watch both of them at the final. Finally, Trunx is up with that bully while that guys mom who sits next to Volma and Gigi and says out loud,"why did my camera have to break at my son's time of glory. But then that gets Volma angry so she screams out to Trunx to kick that guys but. After the fued with the mothers, they start the fight and Trunx beats his weak oponent like nothing.

201. A Dark and Secret Power

Videl Is a very good fighter, but Spovovich has an enormous amount of vitality.

Videl constantly nocks and thrashes Spovovich to the ground but he just keeps getting up.

Eventually Videl kicks Spovovich in the head so hard it spins completey around and he falls lifeless to the ground. Or did he? Moments later he gets back up onto his feet, grabs his head and then spins it back to the way it was supposed to be.

Eventually Videl gets so exhausted Spovovich manages to hit her even tho she is faster than him.

Beaten and injured Videl flys into the sky and waits there to get her strength back....

202. Videl is Crushed

Videl is flying above the ring exhausted, trying to regain his energy when Spovovich smiles at her and then takes to the air himself.

He flys high above Videl and begins to laugh as he fires and energy wave at her.

Videl is hit and screams in pain and falls to the ground with a solid thud.

Videl is now so weak she cant even hurt Spovovich any more. She flys above his head and kicks him in the face 5 times and he dosen't show the slightest expression of pain.

Spovovich then Headbuts Videl in the Chest then punches her in the stomach and then Kicks her to the ground. Videl Struggles to get back up and then puches him in the head a dozen times.

Spovovich then smiles at her and catches her hand. She then swings around to kick him in the face and Spovovich catches her leg. He then spins her around over his head and throws her out of the ring, but just before she hits the ground Spovovich Catches her and slams her back onto the tournament floor.

Spovovich then begins playing with her using her as a punching bag.

Mean while Gohan is on the sidelines geting incredibly angry at Spovovich and begins to power up to SSJ1.
