Double Oak Cemetery

This Cemetery is located in Estill County KY on Barnes Mountain Directions are as follows: From the courthouse in Irvine Kentucky go accross the the Kentucky River, towards Richmond, and make a left turn at end of bridge and go about 5 miles then make a right turn on Barnes Mountain Road and go about 6 miles and make a right turn where it intersects with RT 851 and go about one mile and on the right you will see a dirt road call Double Oak Cemetery, this road goes about 1 mile and the cemetery is at the end of it. There is about 30 graves that are marked by fieldstones, without writing and about 4 new graves without writing.

I visited this cemetery on September 16, 1998.
