J. J. Estes Cemetery
This Cemetery is located in Estill County KY on Barnes Mountain
Directions are as follows:From the courthouse in Irvine Kentucky go accross the
the Kentucky River, towards Richmond, at end of brige make a left turn and go about 5 miles
then make a right turn on Barnes Mountain Road and go about 6 miles, it is on the
left side of the road about 1/2 mile before you get to the stop sign of RT 851
There is a new chain link fence around it, there are only about 4 graves in it
but it is very well maintained and room for about 60 gravesites.
I visited this cemetery on September 16, 1998.
