All
Revelation Comes From
GOD the Father
Jesus did not give me Wisdom, Jesus IS my Wisdom.
“The
Revelation
of Jesus Christ, which GOD gave Him to show His servants, the things which must
shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His Angel to His
servant John, who bore witness to the Word of GOD.”
Revelation 1:1.
Note what this verse says: the revelation which GOD the Father gave
to JESUS to give to
His servants. And Jesus gave it to an Angel who then gave it to John.
All Revelation comes from GOD the Father because He alone knows the ending of
times for all things. “No
one knows about that day or hour, not even the Angels in Heaven, nor the Son,
but only the Father.” Matthew 24:26.
Question: why
does GOD the Father know but GOD the Son not? The answer can be found in this
verse: “I no
longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his Master's business,
but instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my
Father I have made known to you.” John 15:15.
If
the Son knows, then so must we, because He came to teach us EVERYTHING the
Father made known to Him. So the Son does not know in order that we may
not know either.
And why are we not allowed to know? Most likely because it would interfer
with our freedom of choice. We must choose GOD out of Love, not out of
fear or any other incentive that such knowledge may reveal to us.
When is a Vision from
GOD?
How do we know when a vision is of GOD and when it is not? The precedence
is clearly set in the Bible. Examine these verses:
“
... the heavens
were opened and I saw visions of GOD.” Ezekiel 1:1.
I
will not write out the entire vision here because it's way too long but you can
read it in Ezekiel Chapter 1.
“I watched until Thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was
seated. His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like
pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, it's wheels a burning fire.
A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands
ministered to Him and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was seated and the books were opened.” Daniel 7:9-10.
“Then I turned to see
the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw 7 golden lampstands,
and in the midst of the 7 lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with
a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band.
His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a
flame of fire; His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and
His voice as the sound of many waters; He had in His right hand 7 stars, out of
His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun
shining in all it's strength.” Revelation: 1:12-16.
What do
these 3 visions have in common? They were ALL visions of GOD first, and
then the message was given. So this is how you know a vision is of GOD: It must always contain a vision of GOD, His Throne or some part
of His Glory, FIRST.
If the vision is devoid of GOD, then it is NOT of GOD, for Satan cannot imitate
these 3 things. So if a spirit appears and tells man that GOD sent it, yet
there is no accompanying vision of GOD, His Throne, or some part of His Glory, then it is a false vision from
a deceiving spirit from HELL.
