About Author:
Eiichiro Oda used to be an assistant of Watsuki Nobuhiko on Rurouni Kenshin
before he started One Piece. Base on his answer section in my manga, he said that he didn't like to use
screen tone, and this remind me of Watsuki Nobuhiko's work. Also, he said that he loved to draw animals. If
you buy One Piece, you will find a lot of animals pictures in his work.
Most of characters name are real! Mr. Oda said in one of his answering section that he usually name the character based on the
real pirate name such as Roronoah Zoro or Albeda.
Before Mr. Oda worked on One Piece, he used to draw the story called "Romance Dawn" and his main character is Rufi, the rubber man.
This story is the origin of One Piece. However, it's just a one chapter story, and the characters are different. (Except Rufi, of course)
