Jal Mahal was built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 AD in the midst of the Man Sagar Lake as a pleasure spot. The Lake was formed by constructing a dam between the two hills by Sawai Man Singh I. During the winter months one can see a large number of migratory birds at the lake.
A stone observatory-Largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Its complex instruments, whose settings and shapes are scientifically designed, represent the high points of medieval Indian astronomy. The most striking of these are the Ram Yantras used for guaging altitudes.

Wondrous legends surround the church-the most famous being that of the ship-wrecked Portuguese sailors, who in the 16th century, vowed to build a great shrine for the Virgin Mary, for saving their lives in a terrible storm. The Velankanni festival attracts thousands, clad in orange robes to the sacred spot where the ship landed. Equally famous are the Virgin Mary's miraculous healing powers - earning for the church the name 'Lourdes of the East'. 
This wondrous creation built in 1987 next to the famous Kalkaji Temple signifies the purity and equality of all religions. The temple built by followers of the Bahai is in the shape of a lotus. With not a single pillar to support its interior, the concrete petal domes majestically face the sky. The brilliantly arranged illumination the architectural details. Inside the spotlessly clean prayer hall, bathed in fresh air and sunlight, lie directly below, the inner petals of the partially open lotus.
The seat of the worlds largest democracy. This circular shaped colonnaded building houses the two Houses of Parliament- the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Its domed Central Hall is 90 feet in diameter
