Giri no imohto ("Ginny")
Dorami-chan and I gained a sibling in 2003,
when Gino decided to get married and "Ginny" became our giri no imohto
-- "younger sister-in-law" in Japanese.
Ginny is a yakuzaishi (= pharmacist -- not to be confused with yakuza = Japanese mafia gangster!). It is nice to have an allied health professional among my relatives to "talk shop" with. Gino and Ginny met while playing recreational baseball. Who says a little exercise isn't good for you? They live in Tokyo, in a nice house that Gino built just around the corner from "Fil" and "Millie". Ginny and Gino became proud parents in 2004! Omedetou gozaimasu ! Communicated from afar by regular telephone calls and e-mail, Ginny and Gino's recent experience is a source of useful information for Dorami-chan and me in raising our own baby.
