Giri no otohto ("Gino")
"Gino" has been part of my family since the summer
of 2000, when I married Dorami-chan
and he became my giri no otohto --
"younger-brother-in-law" in Japanese. In fact, I am younger than him by a few months,
but because Dorami-chan is his oneh-san (older sister), I am considered
his giri no onii-san (older-brother-in-law)!
Aside from all that, he is probably the most mature and responsible of any of us. He helps my father-in-law run his family's carpentry business in Tokyo. He rides a baiku ("bike" = motorcycle) and on weekends he plays recreational baseball for several teams (position: catcher). It was on one of those teams that Gino met "Ginny". They got married in June 2003 and became proud parents in 2004! Omedetou gozaimasu !
