This was a great start to what should be a very successful season. The team placed 3rd with 47 points. It was a hot day and the competition was strong. As like always Bow and White-Mountian put up huge numbers. The 4x400m relay team didn't even have there number one combination but still ran 4:01. Just four seconds off the school record that is sure to fall by the end of this season. Some people who placed in the top 3 today were: Doug Cook, 2nd in the 400m-56.2, and 3rd Shot Put-32'6'' James Stafford, 2nd in the 800m-2:18, and 1-Mile-5:01 Chris McKee, 2nd in the High Jump-5'4'' Zach Emerson, 2nd in the 2-Mile-10:49 McKee,Ager,Stafford,Cook, 2nd in the 4x400m Relay-4:01
Sophomore Zach Emerson and the 4 members of the relay team have qualifed for the State Meet and the Wilderness League Championship already. Senior Doug Cook, 400m, Junior James Stafford, 1-Mile & 800m, and Junior Chris McKee, high jump & 100m, have each qualified for the Wilderness league meet.
