| The second 1-2-3 finish for H-D this season and another victory on one of the coldest days of the year. It was about 20 degrees out and was snowing a little towards the middle of the race. The weather forced the runners to wear many uncomfortable layers. Zach Emerson won and set a new course record by 14 seconds. James Stafford held off a late surge by Josh Costa to grab 2nd by one stride. The times were very fast. Our course has no hills. It starts at Grimes Field and is out and back on Hillsboro's old train track trails. It's extremly flat. Many runners ran P.R.s and were full of smiles after the race. |
