Where do I begin
To tell the story of how great a love can be,
The sweet love story that is older than the sea,
The simple truth about the love she brings to me?
Where do I start?

She gave a meaning to this empty world of mine;

She came into my life and made the living fine.

My name is Helena.
I am related neither to art nor to programming.
This is my first and only site, at least so far.
My favorite musical genres: opera, symphonic music, instrumental music (piano, violon, guitar), Portuguese Fado, Russian romances, Spanish serenade, flamenco, retro music of 1930-1950.
My favorite composers: Bethoven, Paganini, Chopin.
My favorite female singers:Maria Callas, Montserratt Caballe, Cecilia Bartoli, Lolita Torres, Amalia Rodrigues (the Queen of Fado).
My favorite male singers:George Ots, Placido Domingo, Fyodor Shalyapin, Sergey Lemeshev, Mario Del Monaco..
My favorite actress and a female example: Lyubov Orlova, as you could already guess.
To my opinion, she is not an ideal beauty, she is not a great actress But she is a charismatic personality!!! She influenced too much on characters and behaviour of several generations of Russian people. She managed to become a true Symbol, a Goddess, a Blessed Virgin. People adored her and idolized her as an exceptional and gifted human-being.
I wanted to make some small contribution to saving her memory and, as far as possible, to thank her for she had done for our nation and for our life.
