At this point in time very little is known of the Horseman family. Richard and Sarah Horseman (nee Graham) had two known children Richard born c.1807 Galway, Ireland, and Eliza. Richard his wife Ellen and children Richard, Henry, Jane and Sarah arrived in Victoria in 1860 aboard the Sarah M. They settled in the Yandoit area, near Daylesford, on land belonging to Richard's nephew Richard Molloy, son of Richard Horseman's sister Eliza Molloy (nee Horseman).

Of Richard and Ellen's children, very little is known of their sons Richard and Henry. It is not presently known what became of their eldest known son Richard born c.1843, and Henry born c.1849 married Mary Jane Faull in 1878. It is possible Henry and Mary settled in NSW.

Jane born c.1850 and Sarah born c.1853 married possibly in a double ceremony in 1868 Michael Carty and John Carty respectively. Michael and John were the sons of Michael and Catherine Carty (nee Lyons) and were also possibly from Galway, Ireland. Both Jane and Michael and Sarah and John settled in the Shepherd's Flat and Yandoit area.

Richard died in Yandoit in 1869 and Ellen died in 1878.

I would be grateful to learn of any further possible information regarding any members of the Horseman family.

Eliza Horseman married Patrick Molloy and they had four known sons Richard, Mathew, Charles and Patrick. Richard and Patrick arrived in Melbourne, Victoria in 1854 aboard the Fullwood. It is not presently known if their brothers Mathew and Charles also immigrated.

It seems for the first three years after his arrival in Victoria, Richard went about the country purchasing land on behalf of Mr Hugh Glass, a financier, merchant and pastoralist who as an agent and dealer bought and sold stations throughout Eastern Australia. Richard married Mary Cantwell in Ballan in 1864 and the family settled in the Yandoit and Franklinford area. Patrick married Bridget Coen in 1860 and they too settled in the Yandoit and Franklinford area.

Of Richard and Mary's children:
- Elizabeth Margaret married James Bernard Barrett in 1880 in Franklinford
- Mary Dorothea married William O'Connell
- Sarah Jane married James Collins in 1894
- Theresa Bridget married George Frederick Dunkley in 1897
- Catherine never married, she became a Loretto Nun
- Lucy Agnes never married

Of Patrick and Bridget's children:
- Mary Ann married Edward O'Neill in 1881
- Charles died as an infant
- Elizabeth Julia married Michael Hallinan in 1889
- Mary Jane married Francis Walter Murphy in 1888 in Yandoit
- Margaret Agnes married Albert James Ross
- Patrick Joseph married Sarah Bennett in 1908
- Catherine Winifred married Arthur Patrick McIver
- Richard Joseph married Matilda Seraphina Vosti in 1898
- Theresa Bridget died as an infant
