New people have arrived and old people have left. Elders Shannon and Christensen and Shirley ^+ Sister Hall^ came in after one week, Elders Heater, (Nighthorse) Campbell, Hugie, and Price arrived after two weeks, and Elders Hurd, Burgon, Sackett, Kuester, and Rencher came in Wednesday while Elders Dodson, Molgard and Smith have left. This morning I was in a breakfast line, and Elder Hugie was behind me. I conversed with him for a little while, then I noticed his companion. His name tag *noticed* identified him as Elder Pabst, and I told him that I believed I had heard of him. I found out that his first name was Eric and he was from Salt Lake City. This elder was the State Math Sterling Scholar! From what I'd heard of him, I also associated him as one of the finest young men in the state of Utah. I was able to speak with him *befo* a little before and after breakfast, and he seems to be like I've heard. El Gusto es miyo. That was pretty neat. On the second Preparation Day, my companion, Elder Steel and I had a little tiff about attending gym twice, Our relationship took a downward turn for awhile, but I believe that it's starting to go up now. I tore my flannel pajamas in the crotch, wrote a letter home, got three phone messages from Aunt Sharon about them, and ended up getting new ones. I have also received a few packages -- one containing the pictures I'm using, another with cookies from the Miller's and another with cookies and candy yesterday from home. That's all the time I have for now -- The Gospel is True!
