Lake Balkhash is southeast Kazakhstan. The lake has an area of 11,375 sq. miles (18,200 sq. km) with a coastline of nearly 1,500 miles (2,400 km). It is the 16th largest lake in the world. The Survivors will be expecting a nice pleasant time at the lake, but they will be stunned to find very harsh conditions. First off, the lake will is frozen over from November until April. Also, less than an inch of rain falls over the lake in a year, leading to scarce vegetation. The western half of the lake is typically shallow and has fresh water, but the eastern half is much deeper and has salt water. Below you can see where the various tribal camps and Tribal Council are:
