Episode 11: Deliver Us From Eve
When they got back to camp, all three Gluboko members had mixed emotion. All of them were sad that the tribe's matriarch, Missy, was gone. However, they were all glad they had gotten rid of the biggest threat and a member of a rival alliance. With conflicting feelings, they all went to bed that night wondering what the next day would bring.
As day 31 began at Melkiy, Corey, Mike and Sue were speculating who got the boot from Gluboko. Mike was convinced that it "had to be Eve, because those buffons couldn't get Missy out". Corey laughed, but Sue said "I wouldn't underestimate them." She went to confessional saying, "I kind of hope Missy did go, because it would give me some leverage over Mike and Corey." Later that morning, Mike and Corey meandered over to the treemail box and found old buffs and a treasure maps. Corey called for Sue, who was back at camp, tending to the fire, to come, because "we're re-merging!". Sue came and Melkiy left to go back to the Mai Kai camp.
When Melkiy arrived back at the old Mai Kai camp, they stood around for awhile waiting for Gluboko to arrive. Eventually, Sue spotted some figures out in the distance. They quickly tried to figure out who was there. Corey immeadiately spotted Eve, but they couldn't make out who the other two were. As they got closer, Sue recognized Will. The three of them were still trying to decipher whether Brandon or Missy was accompanying them. However, they soon realized the truth-Missy was gone. Before they were in hearing range, Mike declared, "We must avenge Missy's death!". Corey said, "Aboslutely!" and Sue just smiled. When Gluboko came to camp, they all hugged each other and welcomed each other back.
Soon afterwards, Adam came to camp pushing a tray with five buckets and bundles of money. He said, "Hey, guys, welcome home! Want to start off with a little fun?" Everyone nodded and Adam continued, "OK, we'll have a little auction. Instead of food, you can bid on things that will help you out in the game. Each of you will be given 1000 tenge, the currency of Kazakhstan. They each have been marked with your initials. Take as much, or as little of the currency as you want to bid on these five things:
1) Cancel any 2 previous votes
2) Cancel one of your own previous votes
3) Sit someone out in the immunity challenge
4) View the voting history
5) Cancel somebody's vote at the next tribal council
Put your money in the bucket or buckets you like, and when you're down have a seat. Oh, and I should mention-if 2 people tie for the high price, no one will win the auction.
Corey and Mike whispered to each other that "they must win either sitting someone out at the challenge or cancelling a vote, because they could get rid of Eve with it". Corey agreed to put all his tenge towards sitting someout at the immunity challenge, while Mike went for cancelling a vote at tribal conucil. Sue realized she could significantly knock down her previous votes, and put her tenge in the bucket for cancelling 2 previous votes. However, Brandon only had one previous vote so he went for #2. Everyone else bid, and Adam then announced he'd call everybody up one-by-one to tell them what, if anything they won. Eve went up first and Adam informed her she was successful in being able to view the voting history. Adam showed her, she nodded and sat back down. Next up, Will approached Adam. Adam informed me he didn't win anything, so Will sighed and went back with the others. Sue came up next, and smiled when she found out she could cancel 2 previous votes. She said, "Those votes will come off me, thank you very much!" and sat back down. Corey then figured out he could secretly sit someone out of the immunity challenge. He thought about this for a second and then said, "Eve, because if she isn't immune, she'll go because of previous votes." Brandon stepped forward next and gave a huge smile when he found out he was back down to not having any previous votes. Mike was last to talk to Adam, and he grunted when he learned he was winless. Adam waved good-bye to the survivors and wished them luck.
As soon as Adam left, Corey approached Sue and Mike. He informed them Eve would be sitting out the challenge, and if they vote for her, she'd go, and they'd be the final 3. Mike grinned and Sue nodded at this. They then went back to camp, and after repairing the shelter the six of them went to bed.
The next morning, Eve and Sue were both up early. They decided to go for a walk together to collect firewood. While on the walk, Eve suggested that the final four should be them two, Will and Brandon. Sue thought hard about this and told Eve, "it didn't sound like a bad idea". Eve smiled, they shook hands and they headed back to camp.
When they arrived, they both shriked when they found the water canteen knocked over and a stream of water eroding away at their shelter. Immedaitely, Eve began to give orders. She said, "Mike, you and Will go get more water, the four of us will stay back here and work on the shelter." Mike and Will left, leaving Eve, Brandon, Corey and Sue back at camp. Eve and Sue tried building a barricade to keep further water from entering the shelter, while Brandon was bailing water from the shelter. Corey was just sitting around doing nothing. Eve saw this and shook her head. She didn't want to make an issue at the moment, to risk losing Sue's friendship. Eventually, Brandon was able to drain the water, and they rebuilt the damaged shelter. Mike and Will also returned back with huge quantites of water, enough to last the remaining seven days.
That evening Eve and Will took a walk. They agreed there were two sides of the game: them two and Brandon and the Mike and Corey side. Will added, "I think Sue is with Mike-" but Eve stopped him. She said, "I think Sue will be voting with us at tribal council. She seemed up for it when I mentioned a final four pact between myself, you, her and Brandon." Will then said, "Wow...but you mentioned tribal council, who should we target-Mike or Corey?" Eve then said, "Are you kidding? This is a no-brainer! Corey, of course. You missed it, but he did absolutely no work with the shelter situation today and has become really lazy. I'm not sure if it's arrogance or what, but he has got to go." Will nodded and the two shook hands.
The next morning, everyone was up early, anticipating a tense day. Except Corey, he was feeling confident, so he decided to sleep in. Around noon, Mike roused him. Mike told Corey it was time for the immunity challenge and should get up. Corey stretched and soon the tribe set out for challenge beach.
When they got there, they saw six easels, as well as Adam and another person. Adam greeted them, "Hey guys, let me introduce, Jon, he's been here to judge challenges before, and he's going to judge this one. Your task is simple, write a 150-word funny essay about how you made it this far. Remember, immunity is at stake!" Immeadiately, they assembled at the easels and began writing. As Brandon, the last person, finished, Jon perused the easels. He then grabbed the immunity necklace and said, "I will put it around the winner's neck" He circled the easels a few times before he placed the necklace on Mike's neck. He yelled, "Yeah, Baby!" and smiled. Adam then continued, "You didn't get off that easy, Mike, since you wrote a good essay, why don't you read it?" Mike chuckled and began:
"Captain Kathryn Janeway of the Federation starship Voyager rescued me
from a planet populated by…OUCH! Sorry, I just tried dodging a rice pot. Sue
humped Eve’s leg last night; they are both a little upset. Oh, the point of this was to write how we got here. Okay here is your answer. It all started when - well Kathryn Janeway did not have to do with that…I was writing in my diary and ran out of paper. I just started reading from the top and that did not make sense so scratch that. How crappy is that, that I ran out of paper - okay so yeah, so I am like…anyway yeah I am telling the story. Some Oreo cookies would be a delight about now. Be back in 5. So you really want to know how I made it here in the final 6 of Survivor? I LIED! I CHEATED! I STOLE! I MURDERED! I FORGOT TO PUT THE TOILET SEAT DOWN! AND YO BABIES AIN’T SAFE CUZ I’LL DO ANYTHING TO WIN SURVIVOR! The doctor says I need to suppress the other personality - it just comes out sometimes. Live from New York it’s SATURDAY NIGHT!"
Everyone laughed from Mike's essay, and soon they headed back to camp, where the mood was changed dramatically. As soon as they got back to camp, Eve took Brandon aside and told him the events of the past three days and that he was to vote for Corey at tribal council. Brandon agreed and the two shook hands. While Eve was doing this, Corey, Mike and Sue were having a discussion. Mike said, "We've gotta vote for Eve, she's the one with the previous votes." Corey said, "I agree" and once again Sue just nodded. As soon as their discussion ended, Eve approached Sue. Eve took Sue aside and she told her, "Look, Sue, we're doing this thing, right?" Sue said, "I guess so". Then, Eve said, "Good, then, we should vote for Corey." Sue said, "All right". Eve let out a sigh of relief. Sue then went into confessional saying, "I see myself in the middle, which is a good position to be in considering I'm the only Gluboko left. If I vote Corey, I've got the final 4, but if I vote Eve, I'm in the final 3. I don't know what I'll do yet." A few mintues, later the reunified Mai Kai left camp for tribal council.
As they got to tribal council, a light drizzle began. The sky clouded over and a cold wind blew right into the survivors faces. Unfortunetly for them, Adam had a lot of questions about the re-merger. By the time Adam finished, the rain had turned into a thunderstorm and they watched as lightning struck nearby them. They soon hurried to vote. Corey was first and wrote down "EVE" on his card. Mike followed and also voted for "EVE". He said, "I VOTE FOR EVE...YEAH! Avenge the death of Missy! Eve you were a good player but you got in the way. Go Missy! It's your Birthday!" Brandon then voted for "COREY", and Eve was next. She succinctly said, while voting for Corey, "You thought you had the game, you were wrong bud." Will was up next who held up his vote for "COREY". Lastly, Sue approached the voting platform. She stood for about five minutes before she wrote a name down and said, "It's your time." At that, Adam began to read the votes:

"Two votes each for Eve and Corey."

"Final vote:"

"We have a tie, that means Mike, Brandon, Will and Sue will vote again. If we still have a tie, we will go to previous votes. Mike-you're up."
Everyone quickly voted and Adam read the revotes:

Adam said, "Another tie. Since we're deadlocked, as I mentioned earlier, whoever has the most previous votes will go. Corey, how many do you have?" He replied, "None." Adam asked, "Eve, how about you?" She immeadiately got up and said, "Too many to count." At that, she went forward and listened to the dreadful words, "Eve, the tribe has spoken." On her way out, she went over to Sue and told her, "You switched your vote!" and left. The divided Mai Kai tribe headed back to camp.
Next week on SURVIVOR:
Brandon and Will begin to think the end is in sight:
BRANDON: "What we need is some sort of miracle to make it in the final 2!"
However, they might get a break, because Sue begins to re-analyze her strategy:
SUE: "I just thnk it's time to stir this God-forsaken pot"
