The Sailormoon R movie features Fiore, an old friend of Mamoru who just goes a little too far showing his affection...No, not that way. The movie ressembles a bit the Aliens' part of the R serie, Fiore probably coming from the Makaiju himself. It also has many plant related villains, a comet, and an alien that doesn't quite understand the human feeling of friendship...You'll see.
When Mamoru was at the hospital, recovering for his car accident, he met a small lonely alien called Fiore. They soon became friends, but Fiore couldn't stay on Earth very long and had to leave. Running after him crying, Mamoru gave him a rose. Fiore was very happy of his first present and promised Mamoru that he'd return with many flowers for him.
Years later, Mamoru has become the grown up many love and is Usagi's boyfriend. While visiting a botanical garden, a petal rain starts to fall and who is not to appear but Fiore! He greets Mamoru warmly and says he's found the perfect flower...but then he sees Usagi and turns cold. he think that only he can be his friend and that everyone else will deceive Mamoru. So he disappears with the petal rain...
In the evening, Luna and Artemis have discovered a strange meteor that would destroy the Earth were it to touch it...it emanates an odd plant aura and looks like a seed...
Fiore reappears another time and creames the senshi, all of them. But Tuxedo kamen interferes. Fiore recognizes him thanks to the symbolic rose and explains to the masked man that he should stay with him. But Mamoru knows that he's wrong. Fiore attacks Sailormoon, but Mamoru shields her and is gravely injured. So Fiore disappears with him in a tornado of petals.
At that point, Sailormoon wishes to give up, but the senshi and ChibiUsa cheer her up. Soon, they're Sailor Teleporting to the giant meteor....Fiore's hideout.
The alien'a plan is to send the hundreds of thousands of flower seed to Earth, this way it'll be soon covered with it's beatiful flowers and the energy of all living creatures will be sucked out, destroying the planet. Fiore makes his evil flowers attacks the senshi, and soon they are caught. Only Sailormoon is left with a choice: let her friends suffer or give up the magic wand that hurt Fiore's flowers. She chooses the latter. Fiore throws away the senshi and, fusing with Kisenian, drains Sailormoon of all power and tries to kill her. But oh! what's that? Mamoru throws a rose at Fiore's heart! He snaps out of it for a while and the senshi explain to him how Sailormoon is important. But it doesn't work that way and Kisenian-Fiore changes the course of his meteor so it'll crash into Earth. Sailormoon gets up and uses her power to stop that, but Fiore grabs her pure heart Ginzuishou. We see flash back of mamoru crying alone at the hospital. A child Usagi enter and cheers him up. "Congradulations!", she gives a rose to Mamoru...the same rose her later gives to Fiore! He opens his hand and the Ginzuishou has taken the shape of a flower. Fiore realizes that he's done wrong, but can't stop the meteor...he dies...
Or does he? The meteor has taken a different course, the Earth is saved once more by Sailormoon...Sailormoon?!! She used up all her energy...she died too! But, what's that flying in space...Fiore? A child Fiore comes to see Mamoru and thank him. He then gives his life flower to his best friends saying: "Give the dew of this flower to Sailormoon". A beautiful kiss and she is revived, Fiore thanked, and the Earth is saved for the future as well!

The Kisenian Flower a pretty mean plant! She posesses weak-spirited poeple and amplifies their negative though...and then..KABOOM a planet is destroyed. However, she does have a pretty nifty bgm!lol!
Her current victim is, you've guessed it, Fiore. She has the ability to possess him, making him stronger, but rendering him blind with negative thoughts. Talk about the best present for mamoru...But in the end, she is defeated by Sailormoon's power and she can never threaten another person or planet again.

Her seiyuu is Yumi Touma, who also voiced Ann.

Like the youma and the cardians, Fiore has flowers. Hundreds and thousands of flower that pop out the minute their seed is in the ground. These aren't normal flowers you imagine, they are fed by energy, can grow a female torso (complete with head and bra-like cover) and have different powers. You can meet three kind of flowers in the R movie.
The first kind is the only one to actually've been seen on Earth. To my belief, it's the most powerful one when in solo. As a flower, it can send vines to control inanimate bodies like zombie puppets. But it's even more impressive as a ...creature? It sports four spider-like legs that permits her to move at great speed. her arms can turn into vines to suck energy, and extra vines can come out of her body. When she is draining energy from a victim, a large pink flower grows on her back and acts a bit like an energy reservoir. But she does have a weakness: Mercury's ice attacks can slow it down and even paralyze it. So, she is defeated.
The second kind of flower tries to stop the senshi as they arrive at the meteorite. It has a full female body plus sharp wings that permit it to fly and attack. Unfortunately, it is easily dealt with as it crashes to the ground....
The third kind is the most powerful while in a group. And what a group! Their number were increaseing and no one could see them when, they got out of the petals. With snake-like vine tails, these flowers encircled the senshi, but that formation didn't work. So Fiore rallied all of the flowers and they formed a tidal wave, catching the senshi! They disappeared when he couldn't understand human feelings. When Kisenian repossessed him, hands came out of the flowers to receive energy. Soon after, as Mamoru attacked Fiore, all flowers disappeared and the meteor was rerouted...

Can you understand why this is my favorite Sailormoon movie? ~(^.^)~
