First Serie Youma and Raibow Crystal Warriors
Queen Metallia is the leader of the leader of this legion of darkness. The SilverMillenium was destroyed by it's fault. Everyone thought she was destroyed for good... Venus describes her as "a formless and diabolical monster coming from the depths od Darkness!Raw evil..! It seeks power and wants our crystal to take control over the Earth! Right now, it feeds on human energy and is a danger for everyone!". After a while, human energy isn't anough to sustain her anymore so she needs the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou.The Ginzuishou gives indefinite power to its holder and would permit her to conquer the Galaxy. By the way, you might wonder why I said she's the leader of the leader. Well you see, Metallia doesn't give any direct order to anyone other than Queen Beryl, who leads everyone else. We first see her (manga) in Chapter 7 of the book and is destroyed in Chapter 13. Her goal is to cover this world with darkness. Queen Beryl found Metallia in ruins in the North Pole (D point). But Metallia uses everyone to get to her ends.
In the past, she could only be sealed, not destroyed. I said so above, let me explain why. Endymion was killed in front of Princess Serenity's eyes. Crazy with sadness, she killed herself. Queen Serenity had doubt and sadness in her heart when she used the ginzuishou to defeat Metallia. Her destruction wasn't completed.
She has the power to transform her ennemies into stone. She can absorb all energies. Under Metallia's power, the humans become very violent....In the manga, she gives Beryl the power to awaken "Evil Endymion" (aka Endo). In the anime, she "supercharges" and possesses Beryl (lol). She is voiced by Noriko Uemura.
Her death (manga)
After killing herself and Endymion with the ginzuishou sword, Sailormoon fell to the ground. The ginzuishou then envelopped the two bodies and unleashed it's power...inside Metallia!!! With this energy, she was fully resurrected and took over the earth!
The senshi try stopping her growth, but it's futile. They then throw their life away and give their energy for the resurrection of the Princess. She and TuxedoKamen (no longer evil) awaken...inside the demon!! She tries beating her with the ginzuishou, which only makes Metallia stronger. Sailormoon is not up to it. Endymion fells in his pocket, gets out a stone, Kunzite. The general tells his prince about Metallia and that her weak point, her heart, is the black spot on her forehead.
Sailormoon, with the help of the senshi's energy and Luna's prayers to the Crystl Tower on the moon, focuses the power of her sacred stone and annihilates Metallia.
Queen Beryl is the second most powerful Dark Kingdom opponent (not counting evil Endymion).
Manga: She is really a human. (I think) She was a servant of Endymion. She loved him in secret. Of course, she was jealous of Serenity. One day, she found Metallia buried at the D point in the North Pole. Next thing we know, a war was lead against the SilverMillenium! Beryl tried to kill Serenity, but she hit Endymion instead and Serenity commited suicide soon after. Well, years later, she is back! She commands the four generals under Metallia's orders. She makes the "dead" Endymion become her puppet and makes him discorver theit HQ. She then appears in front of the senshi for the first time since the SilverMillenium. Venus remembers her as the one who started all of this and tries to reason with her, but it doesn't work. She strangles Sailormoon with her hair even harder! But, then, Jupiter comes with the Silver Crystal sword and frees her princess. Venus then kills Beryl and so she ends.
Anime: Beryl is much less active in the anime. She just sits there, ordering the generals around, until the latest episodes (of course, the generals are then dead...) She then order Endymion to protect her. Well, that plan is also foiled by Sailormoon's love power and she is forced to retreat to Metallia, who then possesses her to try in beating Sailormoon. Need I say what happens to them again?

Evil Endymion (a.k.a. Prince Darien in DiC) is Beryl's very powerful puppet.
Manga:Everyone knows the story of the story of how Tuxedo Kamen dies in front of Sailormoon and so the Ginzuishou comes back. Well, after that, Kunzite (DiC=Malakite) then takes his prince (yes, Mamoru is the general's prince) back to the D point ("Negaverse" HQ) since he had absorbed part of the power of the crystal (because of Sailormoon's will to resurrect him.). His body is searched thoroughly but nothing is found. Beryl then makes him her puppet and, after Kunzite's death, she orders him to go kill Sailormoon. He takes the identity of Endo (who is really one of Motoki/Andrew's friends who works with him at the Crown GameCentre) and tries to infiltrate the senshi headquarters. He's at the game center everyday and Usagi/Serena comes back more and more, but he is unable to hypnotize her. Fortunately for him, Makoto/Lita thinks that he's acting fishy and tries to confront him. She calls an emergency meeting and all the others come! She then attacks them, as does Motoki, to get the Ginzuishou. He finally gets it and that's when Beryl appears. Unfortunately for the senshi, since he had absorbed a part og the Ginzuishou, his power is amplified. After Beryl's death, he "steals" Venus and the crystal sword and brings them to the D point. Sailormoon having followed her beloved, she confronts him in the dark ruins. He takes he by the neck and tries to force her into telling what are the secrets of the Ginzuishou. She repels him and Metallia appears, as do the senshi and cats. Sailormoon realizes there is only one thing to do: kill Endymion. She kisses him one last time and kills herself after the homicide. Thus ends the first evil Endymion.
Anime:TuxedoKamen gets pierce by one of Zoicite's ice pick. The appears the Ginzuishou, etc., etc. TK is then brought to Beryl by Kunzite and she makes him a puppet (ok, so this is the same as the manga...). He is most of the time trying to get the Ginzuishou. Of course, he mysteriously seems to be turning good sometimes. He has an episode where he's trying to get the Rainbow crystals carriers back...and Sailormoon almost heals him back to his original good self too! Well, Queen Beryl has to re-brainwash him and finally it is D-day! After a Moon Healing activation, and some other things ,the little Moon Locket that she had kept is the one thing that heals him back to his normal, loving self.
